Rufo's is a classic Pinoy-style diner. So while it's a beef tapa place, most of the flavors are on the sweet side - just the way we like it. Whether you're heading over for a cheap but proper meal, or after a night out to cure a hangover, Rufo's hits the spot. I like the Shaw branch in particular because of their super accommodating staff. We called in on a weekday night for delivery and they arrived in 30mins. The person we had called was texting us with an update of the rider's ETA, how much change we needed... I appreciated this especially because I have had some bad experiences with Food Panda, who claims to be a spot-on delivery service but obviously can't handle their load; so I really, really liked that Rufo's kept it very basic with constant communication and transparency of their service. And you know what? Our classic tapa arrived in great condition. I got a T-bone steak and it got to me well and good - just make sure you have silverware where you're having it delivered because you're going to need to slice through that guy.
