It doesn't stock my preferred drinks in Coke Zero or Red Bull sugar free, but it does stock Fishermans friends, and that make it a great shop in my eyes. You know that you are becoming a little localised when the shop keeper says That's OK, you can drop in the 20p later, I know you. And well that just gives you a warm feeling all over.

It's your classic 'emergency purchase' location, but the range of cards isn't half bad, actually, and prices seem average for the area - about £2 for a nice birthday card. As you'd expect for somewhere with passing 'tube' trade, service is super quick and efficient (three of us were served in about 8 seconds flat). If you are looking for food and you've a little more time, there are several excellent sandwich shops in the same complex.

I filled in the required fields and selected tickets to see the BBC singers pefrorm some Eastern Eruopean church music in St Pauls in Nightsbridge. A little obscure as an activity but free nevertheless. It was a fairly mature crowd although there were a few other younger types, possilby having followed the same economically focused google pathway as ourselves. The performance was really amazing. I can't speculate on whether it was one of their best - I'm no scholar of turn of the century Latvian church music, but the way that group can shape sounds just from their voices was something almost other worldly. I highly recommend the BBC singers and will be seeking tickets to many more free BBC events.

There is a good selection of sweets for the kids to choose from. I do feel that some of the shop is a bit of a muddle, all sorts for sale but generally the shop is organised and the staff are polite. This shop seems a popular place for the school children to stop off at on their way to and from school and can sometimes get quite busy at these times

There is also books and a good range of childrens toys which are sometimes on offer. There is a selection of stationery, pens, paper. Lots and lots of sweets and crisps to choose from. There is also a post office inside which has good staff and actually smile!

Sadly, the…read morepilot was never aired (which I think was always the plan - and explains a lot of the staff behaviour and vague answers about broadcast date!). Although the taping was crazy late-starting, the staff were amazing with the audience. We were brought water and treated to sweets! The show taping itself was brilliant and run with a lot more ease and professionalism than some of the larger show venues where i've attended tapings.

Enitharmon is basically next door to the London Review Bookshop and the Blade Rubber Stamps store. It's always worth having a browse inside this nice-looking establishment.
