The only bad incident that we had was when we bought a large container of pepperoncinis a week ago that were on the shelf next to the freezers with a little dust on it, their color all looked a little off but "wasnt expired" so we bought one. We had it immediately opened when we got home. Upon tasting one, they tasted way to soft (like they were going soggy, but wasnt) and the flavor was off. My husband happened to notice and pointed out that there was indeed "mold" under the paper seal which wasnt tampered. I would get the others on the shelf tossed for future reference so another health safety concern happens again. Besides that incident, Tru Buy is a great family friendly place to shop at.

I can find unique items that you do not see at other grocers. I am wanting to eat healthier this year and this department is helping me achieve that goal. Also, the Dierbergs label is just as good as a name brand and it helps you save money on your total bill. If you're a drinker, the liquor department is a mini liquor store located inside a grocery store. The variety of wine and beer is huge.
