I figured the other tires weren't great either, and Jerry at AAA suggested we take the car to Walmart in Dexter, which was still open. We arrived at 7:30 and doubted that we could be serviced with four new tires before they closed at 8:00, and someone ahead of us was being serviced. However, Luis and his staff stayed and replaced all four tires quickly, and at a fair price. A big SHOUT OUT to Luis and the rest of the staff who could easily have told us to come back in the morning. You saved our weekend!! Walmart, I hope you treat and pay those guys well. Their gift shop just has so many options. Great stop first thing in the morning for bathroom, coffee and snacks. Inside, the bathrooms were clean with no trash, clean sinks, stocked paper towels. I hit that "green" button for the condition on the way out. In the convenience store, the staff were restocking snacks and coffee fixings. I hit up the "brew-to-order" coffee, added my cream and paid for it at the register. Don't forget that there's a Love's app and you can earn your way to a free coffee. Until I got into the car and on my way, I didn't find out that the coffee was tasteless. Absolutely no coffee flavor to the "Brazilian" at all. Like, I had to try a piece of chewing gum to make sure that I hadn't lost my sense of taste of COVID. I ended up dumping nearly the whole cup.
