Although Rullion are meant to be a 'reputable' agency, after one week of dealing with them, I question the sanity of anyone who could consider their consultants to be anything but unprofessional and seemingly unknowing of the job they have miraculously been given. Well, it depends whom you speak to. If you like playing pass the phone messages and hope that eventually someone will ring you back then you could be waiting a long time. Having registered with them for short term work, initially, the girl in the office whom I dealt with, emailed to me registration forms to complete. Fine, I thought, no problem. I emailed them back and was told to come into the office to 'complete the registration'. I assumed that this would be an appointment to further discuss opportunities and my skills but, on the contrary, after being given a 5pm appointment, I was kept waiting 15 minutes whilst I could see the consultant in question having a chat with her colleagues. Aside from that, the rest of the 'Team's conversations were directed via a method of shouting at one another across the cramped office. When I was eventually seen, I sat down to be asked some equal opportunities questions and bank details. That was it. An hour taken out of my contract for 5 piddly minutes perched on the edge of someone's desk (because they don't have a private office away from the cackling, message taking staff for registrations either!!)
Every time I call to speak to a particular named person and leave a message, 9 times out of 10 my call is not returned and, if it is, it is normally around 2 or 3 hours later. Hey, we're all busy but that is just ridiculous. Like the reviewer for Warrington's Rullion office said, all the consultants in the office seem to act like it was their first day there..either this is a cunning trick to shirk responsibilities so they do not have to actually DEAL with someone at that point on the phone, or they are truly incompetent. On three occasions, I have rang with the same query, spoke to three different consultants and received three different answers. Don't rely on a rapid response. They're quick to call you when they want something but when you are relying on information at short notice, good customer service, and good communication, don't bother. read more
