Ordered a build your own sammich via door dash on 4/21. Corned beef, onion, mustard and lettuce with a side of pasta salad. ABSOLUTELY NO complaints. Went back of 4/17 and met the man behind my delicious creation. Tavis Rockwell! Wonderful, interactive man with a touch of sass to go with the class behind his food creations. Tavis offered us tastes of various creations and nothing disappointed. The Italian Beef is insanely good. I was afraid of the possible heat due to the peppers, but it was just enough to many you want and be able to eat more. Greens? I was leery when I was told there is vinegar in them. SOLD!! They were fantastic. Tavis makes a homemade goetta that would make my German ancestors proud. We then learned that Saturday is breakfast all day. He had us at biscuits and gravy. (You can get lunch and dinner items as well, but WHY?). We came back the next morning and split an order that was just enough for two. Ordered takeout from Rump and Roll about a week ago and I did not disappoint. The sandwiches were full of flavor and a really good size. The chips are homemade (I recommend getting the smoky ones). I had to try a Reuben and it was perfection. The perfectly crisped thin bread, the perfectly saucy sauerkraut, and the oh too tender juicy corned beef meant no leftovers. Great little deli with area to eat there. We got a Cuban, Corn Beef and Turkey Sandwich. The sandwiches were a good size. We took some home. Their homemade chips were an extra treat. I tasted one of their salads and it was so good, I bought a big size to take home. The owners are hard working people who want their customers to enjoy their food. One of the best and most fairly priced sandwiches you'll find in the Cincy area! I ordered the pimento chicken salad and it was a delicious twist on a classic sandwich. Immediate 5-stars! Visited Rump & Roll on a Saturday around lunch. There was a healthy line but the R&R team keeps everything moving quickly. We ordered a Reuben and a Hot Italian, both were fantastic and piled high with the freshest deli meats. Both soups - Broccoli Cheese and Split Pea - were super flavorful and hearty. We also had the house-seasoned chips (omg) and the carrot cake (ooooomg!!). Can't wait to go back and work our way through the menu. The love that the owner put into the decor, they also put into their food! I got the hot & spicy Italian and fare warning, it's very spicy! I absolutely loved every bite, though. Another small business gem in Dayton/Bellevue area.Great food and friendly staff, Cute atmosphere and very clean. I had the charcuterie sandwich lots of great flavor and unique. My mom had the roasted turkey sandwich which had the added bonus of ham and bacon . The homemade smoked potato chips were great and sides were outstanding. We had broccoli salad which was very fresh and had a little kick to it which I enjoyed and potato salad. All were delicious. We picked up sandwiches ( a Kentucky Cuban and a Ruben) and sides (Broccoli which was crunchy, Potato which had plenty of mustard and Pasta salads) and sodas here for a picnic. They were very busy at 12:40 the day we came in. We tried to order a second Ruben (since there were three of us) but somehow that never got added to our order. (Nor were we charged for it.) Turned out that with their potato chips, which are home cooked, we had plenty of food for three, and it all was wonderful. The Cuban really made us want to return. Do make sure they understand your order correctly if they are busy and check what you received before you head to the park. I stopped in after work one day and ordered some sandwiches, soup and carrot cake. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and helpful! I chatted with the owner while he prepared my food. Very nice guy! You can tell he pours his love into each item he creates. I got the turkey sammich on focaccia with everything on it. I'm not a fan but he may have turned me onto them! I also got the roast beef on focaccia and the caramelized onions really gave it the razzle dazzle. The French onion soup is the best I've had outside of my own, I'm really picky on food. The loaded potato soup was so delicious as well. Carrot cake was amazing! Not to sweet and was perfect. I'm glad this has been added to our area. It was my first visit today to Rump & Roll and I'll definitely be back! The staff is so nice and accommodating (offered samples of their soups and specialty salads) before trying. We ended up getting the roasted turkey club (big enough for my daughter and I to split), the broccoli cheddar soup, a side of cheese tortellini pasta and 2 soft drinks ($25)! Great food, good value and very nice staff! Can't wait to try some of the specialty meats! read more
