While traveling to Banff and Glacier NP we stopped for the night in Glasgow Montana at the Rundle Suites hotel. It is an old time hotel that was refurbished into rooms after being apartments with businesses below. It is a nice room with a nice bathroom. There is a refrig, microwave and coffee pods in the room. I stayed at Rundle Suites for approximately one month for work while employed by PTI (Professional Transportation Inc.). Throughout my stay, I experienced extremely poor and unprofessional treatment from the hotel staff. I repeatedly requested basic housekeeping services, including clean sheets, towels, trash removal, toiletries, and bathroom cleaning. Every request was ignored. On one occasion, when I again asked for my room to be serviced, a staff member yelled at me and told me "no." My room was never serviced during the entire month-long stay. I never received clean towels or fresh sheets and was forced to purchase my own toiletries. Staff also refused to remove my trash, so I had to take it out myself. Because the bathroom was never cleaned, a visible ring formed inside the toilet, creating unsanitary living conditions. Meanwhile, other rooms in the hotel were regularly serviced. The only rooms that were not serviced belonged to me and another guest who is also Black. Based on this pattern, I believe race played a role in the way we were treated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Rundle Suites, particularly for people of color. read more

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my stay at Rundel Suites on May 5th, 2026. My room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. I took advantage of the laundry facilities as well as the communal area outside the laundry, enjoying a cup of tea while I waited for the dryer to finish. The hotel is a beautiful old girl and your renovations have given her some new glory days. The murals, comfortable communal areas and flower arrangements are simply lovely. Your staff did a great job on the room and everyone I met here has been so kind and accommodating. I stopped off here in Glasgow on a cross-country trek on Amtrak so that I could stretch out the stiffness from train travel and sleep soundly for a night. I am so glad I discovered your hotel and if I come this way again, I will gladly stop again. I'm telling my friends to consider stopping here because this has been such a nice experience. Niceish room, King bed, average price. Trashy exterior. Musty/moldy smell upon entrance. My room had an AC unit with a bearing going. So loud I shut it off. Sun bleeds around the pull down shades. Staff offered a refund to go somewhere else. At 8pm on the hiline...almost funny. 4hours to anywhere. Charged me for a let I didn't have! Nice sheets. I've never had such a great hotel experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was perfect. After a 14 hour drive, the staff was incredible. The general manager took such good care of us and everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed in a newly renovated room and it was so great! Everything was clean, new, and modern. The hotel is full of new renovations and I love that they are preserving some of the original features like the awesome skylights in our room. Recently stayed at Rundle and the staff was great and the renovation they're doing to this old historic building is super cool. The space filled our needs, was extremely clean and comfortable. They're working very hard to update a large building and doing great. We had a choice of a smaller hotel/motel and Rundle and we were happy with our choice. Remember this is a 100Plus year old building so it has creaks and drafts but nothing crazy. Cleaning staff was great as was front desk. Small common space for lounging and an old pool table our youngest really enjoyed! read more

The check in area seemed to be a bit industrial, and the elevator a bit small, but once I got to the room I was really impressed! I was back in Glasgow for a family function and we had three rooms. I lucked out and got the Copper Suite which is a very large king bed room with a spacious bathroom hidden behind a sliding barn door. The shower is nice, albeit you have to go back and around to find it! LOL! Fridge was used, the electric fireplace wasn't. Super comfortable and quiet room. Plus the Suites are right downtown, walking distance to the Elks Lodge and the Busted Knuckle. I really like this place! read more

This is an exceptional experience. They are doing something very special with this historic building. I was in a Copper Room, with a great blend of modern very up to date and historic. The coffee, water, refrigerator, luxury bathroom and cool furniture was very nice. The floor, wall, painting and ceiling blend of modern and historic was exceptional. The hotel itself is an exploration, from the historic stairway and elevator to the pool table on the top floor, and the historic cool murals and paintings throughout. Rarely in my world travels, if ever, have I seen such care. Did I mention the people are kind, responsive and awesome! Highly recommended! read more

What a gem! My husband and I had to stop in Glasgow last fall due to mechanical issues with our truck. Not only did the owners', and especially the owners' son, help us fix the problem but thanks to our unexpected stop we discovered this special place with amazing rooms. In the future we'll make it a habit to stop, just to enjoy the amazing renovation job they're doing with this historic building. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed, and spacious. read more

Traveling through more remote towns, we've come to not expect much from the hotels we stay at. But, this one totally blew us away. The hotel is gorgeous and the room we stayed in was very comfortable. It looks like it was newly renovated but still had some traditional charm. The elevator is really cool and I think it must've been from near the time this building was built. We got to take a little ride in history up to our room. The front desk manager, Jennie, is the absolute sweetest. So kind and caring and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed at The Rundle Suites last week and it was amazing! There were 6 of us in our party and we were on tour with our band. We walked into the 4-bedroom suite downstairs and were blown away at how spacious and gorgeous the rooms were! I travel a lot for work and this hotel was even nicer than some of the places I've stayed in Montreal and Shanghai. The staff could not have been friendlier, too. When he saw that there were 6 of us and that 2 people would have to share a room, he offered us an incredible upgrade to the Copper Suite. The views were lovely, and the room itself was full of light and was decorated so beautifully. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and I really hope we get to come back again! The pros- my room and the hotel were well decorated. Very cool concept with retro/modern fusion design. The price was very reasonable $103 for a single room. Hotel, Bathroom and room were immaculate* Tv was nice and big with lots of channels. Ac/heater worked beautifully Very cool coffee station in the hallway. Nice fridge in the room. Central location accessible to services in town. Very sweet girl at desk. Reservations/Check in/out was flawless with allowing me a late check out. The cons-one side of the main floor of the building has frosted glass and a row of chairs outside. Every time I came or went, there was a man or men standing by the hotel door smoking cigarettes or a cigar. Maybe a boarding house of some kind? There is a bar across the street and if your room is in the back of the hotel, you get to listen to laughing, loud conversations and drunk fights below your window...all night long... Parking is in back, by the lingering drunks and on the other side of the smoking guys. My pillows were either very stale, or the sheets/pillow cases had not been changed since the last guest. They definitely smelled like someone else... The shower was brand new and beautiful, but VERY SLIPPERY with no safety strips or mat to stand on. The WiFi was slow and disrupted by work on my computer to not have it. (My room was in back by the parking lot, maybe the distance was a factor) As a woman traveling alone, it was a little "uncomfortable" navigating through a bar fight and around random smoking men lurking around outside. All in, I would stay here again and would request a room in front or away from the rear. I would request the room with a tub. It is a very cool place with some kinks to work out. With the exception of the sheets, it wasn't a deal breaker. If I hadn't have gone to bed so late I would have asked for new linens, I had a personal Pillow and blanket from my car so I made due. Don't let looks deceive you. The exterior and lobby lack excitement, but our room was fabulous. John, the owner met us at the front desk, escorted us up to our room. Oh what a surprise, the renovation is over the top our room included an electric fireplace, wine cooler, refrigerator freezer,microwave,and a large flat screen TV. barn doors lead into a large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. John the owner has poured his heart and soul in this property. It is well worth a stay! read more

Great hotel ! We stayed while traveling to glacier national park from MN. Built in 1917 and has so much character. Rooms large, newly renovated with lovely showers. Nice coffee , tea , and hot chocolate station for guests. There is a fitness center one block away with treadmills , weights, etc that you can use included in the price your stay . Very reasonable rates. We will definitely stay again if in the area. read more

We came to the Middle of Nowhere to get away from it all. Jon and his family have done a great job of renovation of the Rundle. The BNSF workers seem to be a mainstay in the town, and the Rundle staff is very accommodating to them and tourists alike. Very roomy with a pool table lounge, coffee bar, small fridges, and cool elevator! It's very comfortable! Recommend for couples, travelers and families. read more

Quick back story for you all.. I am a solo traveler and I was on my way to Alaska from New York when I got very sick on the train. My train the CRASHED in Montana and I was in and out of the hospital. It was a terrible week. I needed a place to stay while I was getting help from the doctors and from the very second I called for availability, Genie was the sweetest and most caring person. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and felt comfortable and safe. Having to go to a town your unfamiliar in in a state you've never been after dark while your sick and after your train crashed, it's freakin scary! And I cannot thank the Rundle suites, Genie, and every staff member I encountered enough for their accommodations and kindness. These people truly care about their guests. Not to mention my room was lovely and spacious and very clean. If I am ever in Glasgow again, this is where I will stay. Thank you so much!! read more

Rundle Suites is, hands down, one of the most beautiful and accommodating hotels I have ever stayed in! The rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious, and equipped with almost everything you could ever need. The copper suite was absolutely stunning with two copper sinks, a huge king size bed, a shower, and luxurious bath, equipped with jets. The rooms were incredibly clean and quiet. I have stayed in rooms in Europe, New York, and nowhere has even come close to comparing to this amazing place. To top it all off, the staff was so accommodating and kind! I checked in around 3 PM. It's a nice, funky hotel. I would give it a much higher rating except that at 12:30 AM I got a call from downstairs. The front desk was calling to ask if I was still planning on staying there that night. Thanks for waking me up from a sound sleep! Poor record keeping. And if it looks like a customer isn't showing up, follow your cancellation policy. Don't call them in the middle of the night to see wher they are. read more

I will admit I had reservations about staying here just because it was a small town. But it is a great historical location! The room was clean and the beds were great. We had 6 in our party and at check in they suggested that we use the 4 bed room suite vs the separate rooms we had reserved. It was great 2 bathrooms a dining kitchen area and a big living room. I don't think I'll ever be back to that area of MT again but take it from me if you are in Glasgow stay here! read more

Rundle Suites is a must stop if traveling through Glasgow, MT. So nice to see this beautiful vintage building repurposed into this comfortable Inn. There are many options and room sizes with that home style look and feel which we found to be quite unique. Our room was remodeled and well decorated like home. Still a couple little renovations going on with no inconveniences. Owners are friendly and very accommodating. I had some very valuable items that needed to stay in my vehicle and wasn't sure about parking. John assured me they have never had a problem in this town with theft and walked me around the area for parking options that would comfort me. I later noticed vehicles with expensive items in them that evening in the open including expensive tools in the beds of pickups. The next morning those vehicles were still there like mine with nothing touched. That speaks highly of the folks in Glasgow. Nice hometown feeling. I hope more Inns start up in these historical buildings across the country. This is a work in progress and hope you can support this venture and hopefully more like it in other towns. We will stay here again on a return trip. read more
