From the…read morefirst meeting Kristina really wanted to make sure she understood us as a couple, our group of friends and family, and the kind of party we wanted to host. I received so many compliments during and after the wedding on 1.) the drinks and how delicious they are, and 2.) the fact that the bartenders remembered everyone's orders after their first round! I had multiple guests tell me they couldn't believe that when they went back for their next drink the bartender would confirm that they'd "like a second" and list off the drink they'd previously ordered. These bartenders are special, and that extra touch really wowed our guests. Their drinks are so delicious! The specialty cocktails we chose were a Strawberry Mule, Old Fashioned, and a Lavender Lemonade mocktail (all of which the guests LOVED). We also had a full bar, and did a stock-the-bar party ahead of the wedding which Top Shelf intentionally tried to use bottles that we supplied before moving on to whatever they purchased at Costco to save us money. They asked us if we would allow shots which we said yes, and twice shots were brought to the dance floor which added to the vibe we wanted. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Kristina and her team from start to finish. If you want your wedding bartenders to intentionally work to make that special connection with your guests and also make great cocktails, you want to hire them for your wedding!

Last month was our parents 40th anniversary. We wanted to give them a party - Low key and stress…read morefree. Dad said so long and he didn't have to wear a suit, he was happy and mom just wanted to enjoy the day with all us kids and not have to stress about cooking and cleaning up. The food was easy: We ordered catered BBQ with pulled pork, BBQ brisket, beans, cole slaw and cornbread. We knew we wanted a bartender too. One who was professional but also outgoing. Our family are not the quiet, formal or reserved sort of folks. We contacted a couple mobile bartending services but decided on Sarah's Mobile Bartending because from the start it was obvious she knew her business, took pride in her work and had the right sort of personality for our party: Professional but also outgoing and people oriented. We told her there would be about 50 people - Mainly adults and a handful of grandkids all under the age of 12. We planned on beer and cocktails but wanted to have maybe one or two special cocktails and something just for the kids. Sarah really came through for us! She suggested a Belmont Jewel - Bourbon with pomegranate lemonade and Amaretto Sours. The Amaretto Sours turned out to be a real hit with our parents and their group of friends who they'd known since college. For the kids Sarah made strawberry and peach slushies. The anniversary party was a hit! Everyone had a great time - Sarah went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She arrived early to set up the bar - which looked great, so when our guests began arriving everything was ready to get the party started. My mom really liked the little lighted sign that had the featured drinks on it. It's little extras like that and Sarah asking about the menu so she could suggest drinks that would go well with the BBQ.
