I went to get lumber to…read moredo my roof and had priced lumber 30 days earlier and at that time what I needed was $9.25 a board, then when I went in to get my lumber I thought I had taken plenty of money to purchase everything I needed and still have money left, but little did I know that Larry Hurn had jacked up the price over double what it had been 30 days earlier, each board I needed was now $20.25 per board, that's over 100% mark up, so I didn't nearly take enough money to get everything so I asked Larry if I could charge what I didn't have the money to cover until later in the day or the next morning since I have been a lifelong customer and was spending almost $1000 at his business and knowing hed over doubled his prices wouldn't even work with me so I wouldn't have to go through the belittlement of having to put lumber back. I spent over $500 on what I did get which wasn't much and after the treatment I received and the sheer greed of Larry Hurn, I'll never spend another dollar in his lousy business if that's how you treat lifelong customers that have spent thousands of dollars at your business. I called around after this experience to find that Hurns was the only lumber yard that had raised their prices so drastically and after being embarrassed to have to put lumber back because of the unbelievable price increase I'd drive to St Louis to get lumber before I'd ever think of spending another dime at Hurns, Hurns stinks! If Yelp would have let me post with a negative star, I would have!!!

I told her I wanted cabinets and she asked if I had an appointment. No I did not I said. Told her that I had measurements for my kitchen and wanted cabinets. She wanted to know where my wife was because apparently I can't order cabinets without her.Then said I had to make an appointment to get help with cabinets. (REALLY) She said that they was busy and could give me an estimate this afternoon.They can sit there and chit chat but can not help a customer in a store that I don,t think you need a appointment to walk in and shop. Well this almost 2k$ fridge has stopped working! Has no power at all literally no lights or anything. I contacted Kenmore an it transferred me to Sears. So I speak with Sears an they inform me the fridge is still under the manufactures warranty and it's still good till Feb 24th 2023. So they tell me they can send out a technician to work in the fridge, but they can't get me a technician till end of September! SO I HAVE TO GO OVER A MONTH WITH NO FRIDGE!!! THIS 100% NOT ACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY ANY MEANS! So I call another SEARS about an hour away, I talk to a very nice lady, who asks someone else who works in the store can we get them someone the man says he's, an they proceed to look at the computer, the gentleman proceeds to tell her loudly, tell them to call the 800 number, she tells him they have already done that, he then proceeds to say THEN WHY HELL THEY CALLING US, tell them Sept 6th is best we can do, so again basically a month with no fridge! But I will say the female was amazing to work with, she said she was gonna try an get it pushed forward but couldn't promise anything!
