These guys are serious rip off artists. They told me they were giving me $650.00 as a trade in for my iPhone 7. They wrote up a loan agreement for the whole amount and when it came time to sign it they scrolled past the loan information to the signature screen. That was two months ago and my monthly bill is $30.00 more than it should be. I dealt with a big fat guy named Christian. He's a fast talker and a slime ball. The WORST place to do business with...The one in Halifax isn't any better! My 74 yr old father-in-law ordered a new phone from the Russell in Newport and went today to pick it up. He paid them the $35 (CASH ONLY) to have them help him set the phone up, they handed him his phone and sent him on his way! Unbelievable! I guess the motto is who cares once they make the sale or dare I say discrimination??? They saw an older gentleman and didn't want to deal with him, because it might take a little longer to explain the new phone. I'm sure its probably the same just about anywhere anymore, but maybe if Verizon likes to do business with pieces of shit like Russell Cellular, than maybe it is time to take my business elsewhere! read more
