Based on this, I scheduled cleanings for my three children and proceeded with additional dental work for my child when cavities were found. Only AFTER 3 dental cleanings for all three of my children and a major dental procedure under anesthesia was completed was I informed that Playtime Dental was actually out-of-network with my insurance. This left me with a substantial, unexpected bill that I would have never agreed to had I been given accurate information. This is completely unacceptable--it is standard practice for dental offices to verify insurance BEFORE performing major work, especially something as serious as crowns and anesthesia. Their failure to do so put my family in a terrible financial position, and they have refused to fully correct their mistake. If you are considering this office, be VERY cautious and double-check everything they tell you about insurance coverage. I would never trust them with my children's care again.
