Service was non existent- every person here seemed like they could not be more miserable. Ordered iced mocha- so acidic I could not finish and gave me heart burn. Ham and cheese croissant was basically- gummy in the inside. Asking for it to be heated seems like the the most arduous task I could have asked for.

Decent spot in the area for coffee and a pastry. A popular spot during the weekday mornings. A lot of customers with their dogs outside or babies in strollers. Plenty of tables inside for a quick breakfast.

While staying in Tiburon for The Weekend my husband and I walked here from our hotel to have coffee and scones. I have been buying their crackers for years and I was really interested to check this bakery out. They have a few locations selling food, drinks, bread, sweets and of course their crackers. This is not the place that they make and package their crackers lol ... lots of indoor and outdoor seating here serving delicious scones and food as well. The service was ok ...

This review is for the Rustic Bakery brownie! I LOVE Rustic Bakery boxed crackers and cookies, which I buy locally in Healdsburg at Shelton's and Big Johns (and wherever else I can find them...hot tip: look for the seasonal pumpkin cookies in/around October!). So I was pumped to discover Rustic Bakery in a small shopping center on a recent visit to Tiburon. It's a light and bright cafe with some indoor seating and some seating in their back patio/courtyard. I visited near the end of their day so didn't expect a full array of fresh items. I don't often have a sweet tooth, but when I do...I love me some chocolate. I was delighted to find a delicious-looking brownie. Let me tell you: it was awesome! Dense, moist, rich, chocolate chips for texture...delicious! And that's not always the case with brownies. I also enjoyed a classic black iced tea. Standard in flavor and refreshing on a hot day. I'll definitely seek out another brownie when I'm near Rustic Bakery again. They do offer a food menu and I hope to try that too.

Mocha and Carrot Cake with Walnuts and Cream Cheese Frosting Slice and lemon poppyseed cake

Place is very cute and aesthetic but the coffee is lacking taste. Ordered a cold brew and added cream to my liking but it was overall bland. My partner order a mocha with whipped cream but when it was brought to us, they told us they were out of whipped cream. The lemon poppyseed cake flavor was great but the icing was hard and gritty. The carrot cake was moist and soft.

Rustic Bakery is a steady, stalwart of the Marin bakery & cafe scene, and this location in Tiburon rings all the bells and whistles for fans who know what they'll get here. Favorite breakfast orders include pastries, strong coffee and steel cut oats, to which you can add fresh berries. (Their oatmeal is rich, so I wasn't completely surprised to learn it's made with cream.) Rustic Bakery shines at lunch, with their supersized salad options. Personal favorites include the quinoa & veggie salad with miso dressing or asian chicken salad with peanut dressing. Rustic is traditional in the sandwich department, with egg and tuna salad in the mix, elevated by their fresh baked bread. Their Marin Melt is a stand out. They also have daily soup options. Packaged sea salt crackers or shortbread cookies (maple shortbread in Fall) make good gifts for friends. Ignore the low-ish ratings, Rustic is as solid as it gets.

Walked over to this bakery while waiting for an event to start nearby. Location is in a plaza with lots of parking, and they had a mercantile store across the hall. We ordered an oat latte and a chai latte, as well as a ginger scone to share. Coffee beans are from Equator! The latte was really delicious, but the chai latte was pretty underwhelming. It lacked the chai flavor and seemed like it was almost all milk. The scone was pretty good though! There were candied ginger bits throughout the scone to give it a nice flavor. Make sure to come early, since most items sell out early!

It's a bougie coffee spot in Tiburon (one of the richest neighborhoods in the Bay Area) and the view definitely lives up to the location. They have glass windows everywhere where you can see the mountains where the 10 million dollar homes sit on or have the view of the bay. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can soak it all in either way. The drinks were the highlight for me. The chai latte had a good spiciness to it and wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciate. And the affogato? Amazing. Absolutely get the affogato. One big miss though -- they have a variety of pastries in a glass container, but I saw flies flying around inside it. That's a big no no for me and completely turned me off from wanting any. Hopefully they get that sorted, because the pastries looked tempting otherwise. Heads up: parking nearby is paid, so plan for that. Overall a lovely spot for a scenic coffee morning -- just stick to the drinks for now.

The view from the cafe and their outdoor patio is beautiful. We ordered a peach scone, an oat milk latte, and a chamomile tea. It was nice to see that the chamomile tea came with a teapot and made about 3 1/2 cups of tea. The latte was served in a nice glass and paired really nicely with the peach scone, which also wasn't too sweet. I loved the interior seating and lighting; it's nice that they seem to have musical events going on, too. The service is friendly, albeit a little slow when it gets busy, which is to be expected. It's also nice that they are open a little later than other nearby coffee shops and bakeries, too.

The coffee is spectacular with selections of flavor options true to their description including The Habibi Latte ($6.25) the Caramelized Banana Latte ($6.50) and the Strawberry Salted Honey Latte ($6.75). On my first visit, I ordered online for store pickup, The Habibi Latte ($6.25) 16 oz ($0.50) with Ghost Town Oat Milk ($0.25), Tigerwalk espresso ($0), double shot (default) in a disposable cup ($0.25). This latte has flavors of orange blossom, cardamom, clove and vanilla syrup. The Habibi Latte was velvety with the flavors of spice and a hint of orange lingering on the tongue. The milk was steamed perfectly, ready to sip and enjoy at the perfect temp. On my second, I ordered at the cafe counter then walked over to the coffee house to pick up my order. The young man at the counter had a beautiful aura, very friendly and engaging - I was grateful the online ordering was not accepting orders, otherwise I would had missed out on this experience. My order this round was the Caramelized Banana Latte ($6.50) 16oz ($0.50) with Ghost Town Oat Milk ($0.25), Mexico Pluma Oaxaca espresso ($0.50), Extra single shot ($1.25) with the default double shot in a disposable cup ($0.25). The profile is house made banana spice syrup. It reminds me of a banana foster, delicate with a pronounced balanced flavor. The drink is creamy, with a Caramelized banana flavor lingering on the tongue - so satisfying. The banana is far from overpowering, complimenting the caramel notes. Their food selection is also better than you'd expect from a coffee shop. In addition to coffee and pastries, they offer cakes, breakfast items, and a variety of other snacks and treats, so there's always something to pair with your drink. Their hours are convenient, making it easy to stop by throughout the day. The only area where I think there's room for improvement is cleanliness. I've noticed on several occasions that when I arrive shortly after opening--sometimes within 30 minutes to an hour--there are still crumbs on the chairs, tables, and floor, even when there haven't been many customers yet. First impressions matter, and the café should be fully cleaned and ready for guests before the doors open. Customers shouldn't have to wipe down their own tables before sitting. Overall, I really enjoy coming here and would absolutely recommend it for the atmosphere, Wi-Fi, seating, and food options. With a little more attention to cleanliness before opening each day, it would be an even better experience.
