    How gorgeous is this restaurant?

I work right next-door and the food here is absolutely delicious. I eat here several times a week. Everybody is very kind and gracious. The food is always fresh and delicious and it is a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about this Thai, with some Japanese infused menu items, restaurant!!! The food...!!! The service! The Owner - she is the nicest!!! And not featured in my pics, the Papaya Salad - so good!!!

This is my FAVE Thai restaurant ever. Whenever I'm in sfv, I have to get the pad see ew. Tonight, (vday 2026) we ordered the drunken noodle to try something new. 10/10. Flavorful and fresh. The texture of the noodles were fresh. Had a lil kick. We also asked for a side of chili sauce or something spicy and they gave us a cup of the chili sauce and also a cup of something else spicy. The something else spicy was fireeeeeee. The heat creeps up on you for sure.

I've passed by this place plenty of times without stopping, but recently my daughter and I decided to give it a try and we were superbly surprised!!! The atmosphere inside is calming and inviting, far more than we expected. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are fantastic. We were warmly welcomed upon entering, possibly by the owner, who gave us the freedom to choose our table. We picked a cozy spot by the window. For our meal, we ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and Veggie Rolls, both of which were fresh, tasty, and delicious. The Chicken Satay, wasn't quite to our taste, it felt like it was missing something that we couldn't put our finger on it. The portion size was generous though. Of course, we finished with Mango Sticky Rice (a must try). The mangoes were in season - sweet and absolutely delicious. The Thai Iced Tea was another highlight, offering a refreshingly authentic flavor I haven't found elsewhere. We will definitely be back. Parking is either in the back or limited spots along Magnolia Blvd.

The Pad Thai here is great, though kinda pricey. The portions were relatively big, the noodles were cooked well, and the dish was flavorful without being overly sweet like some Pad Thais. My only complaint is the price as there are other Thai places nearby that are just as good but cheaper. Part of the higher price could be attributed to the atmosphere and service though as the staff here is very nice and the place itself is cozy and quiet enough for you to have a conversation with the people you are dining with. I also got the Thai Tea Cocktail which was very strong but still tasty. I recommend taking an Uber home if you are a lightweight like me or have more than one

A friend took me here for lunch. Thought it would be a good Thai spot for us to have lunch and chat. I orders a peach ice tea and it was really good. The appetizers ordered were springs rolls and fresh shrimp wraps. The spring rolls were not that great. The vegetables inside were mushy like they soaked in oil too long. The wrapped shrimp rolls were great. For my entree. Ordered the drunken noodles with vegetables. I was disappointed. They had an oven dried vegetable on top that I didn't like the taste of. The noodles were overcooked and sticking to each other. The restaurant was really loud so it really wasn't conducive to conversation. The service was good at first then dwindled down. Will I be back, probably not.

As usual, whenever I go there with friends or with co-workers, it's a delicious time! I've not had anything there that isn't tasty! Not only that, the ambiance is perfect! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and want yummy Thai food.

This place was good. The inside was fun to sit in and the portions are large so it makes for perfect left overs the next day. The service was good. Would for sure come back but I'm not dying for it!

What an amazing restaurant!!! Everything from the decor, to the food, to the service was incredible. We started with the tofu and spinach soup. It's a very simple soup but the broth was absolutely delicious. I couldn't believe how much flavor it had. For our main courses we ordered the pad see ew and the daily special of whole red snapper served with vegetables and rice. Both dishes were incredible and packed with amazing flavor. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake in the mango sticky rice. Both were phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I will 100% for sure, without a doubt, be back. Thank you, Rustic Spoon, for an amazing dinner.

We stumbled across this place when taking our dog to daycare- and wow are we lucky! We ordered some food to go but also peeked inside to see what it looked like! Its gorgeous inside and has a really good vibe! We ordered through their website and picked it up instore- all very easy!! They have direct parking behind the building! The three things we ordered were the Hainam Crispy Fried Chicken with Shallot Rice, Drunken Noodles and Yellow Curry with Chicken. Our least favorite is the drunken noodles- they were average! But the Hainam Chicken is 1 Mil/10. Only bad thing about the curry is they give you the smallest thing of white rice

Played a little roulette on the Yelp dice and came up a winner. Undecided on where to eat, Yelp came through. Yelp always comes through. Found this gem near by and enjoyed my dinner. Ambiance is stellar. Absolutely amazing. I would return with guests and friends just to show it off. The bar looks good. Food presentation was definitely on point. Service was amazing and actually outweighs the ambiance. Our waitress Chatthalika (Cat), the manager, and the rest of the staff were super friendly, attentive, and had good conversations with. Shoutout to Cat for her amazing service. She was that good. What could push my rating to a 5+ is the food. Food was really good, don't get me wrong and I will return. But know the food can be elevated. It's missing a bit of authenticity. I know it's fusion, but it was missing some of the authentic Thai flavors. Very good but not quite great. And I know they can get it there. I'll keep you posted on our progress. Come here with confidence. Easy parking in the back and clean bathrooms. Plus plus.

Really not happy anymore with this place. It's really pricey and you get half the portion you would get somewhere else and the food is dry and bland. Waste of money. I'm very disappointed in the pas see ew I got today and this is not the first time, I'm officially done with this place and I'm mad at myself for even giving it another shot. I called them to complain about my food, not because I want my money back, but because I really hope that they fix their kitchen and give people quality for the price they're charging because this is not it.

This placed opened up a few years ago near me but I tried it out for dinner with my friend and her mother recently. There is parking located in the back, accessible from Whitsett Ave and you can enter the restaurant through the back entrance. We did not have a reservation but were able to be seated immediately for Saturday night dinner. The only thing I want to specifically note is that the waitress told me they do not use peanut sauce in their cooking as someone previously had an allergic reaction in this restaurant. Given that peanut sauce and peanuts in general are a key ingredient in Thai cuisine, I think this might be why the reviews of this restaurant are so varied. Drunken noodles w/ chicken, (spice level 4), 4/5 this is what I ordered, I quite enjoyed this! I have never tried drunken noodles before but this was quite nice. I would refer to this as seasoned instead of spiced though it was 4/5 on the spice scale so if you are expecting a spicy dish, this is not it Pho Filet Mignon Noodle Soup, 4/5, my friend got this and enjoyed it! Curry Noodle, 4/5, my friend's mom got this and enjoyed it!

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

The roti was highly recommended, and although I've enjoyed roti before, nothing has come close to this version. It was incredibly delicious--light, buttery, and perfectly flaky, with delicate layers that practically melted in my mouth. The accompanying dipping sauce complemented it beautifully. I'm a big fan of drunken noodles, but the version served here was truly exceptional--the best I've ever had. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Our server was attentive, patient, and genuinely kind, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I would happily return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding meal.

Rustic Spoon - Toluca Lake…read more You're quaint and close to great. Limited parking in back, but plenty on the street this small sibling eatery to Rustic Spoon - Valley Village has a lot of those familiar beats with both inside and patio seating. I haven't been to this location in many years, but the service and eats definitely had me nostalgic. Stopping in for dinner before an event night, my friend Shaun and I enjoyed the Pad Thai (him) and their Warm Noodle (myself) w/ Tofu. The portions are smaller than the Rustic Spoon in Valley Village, but the flavors and quality are abundant. From curry to desser, noodles to rice dishes, appetizers, salads, soups, chef's specials and even a kid's menu. No wine, beer or alcoholic beverages available here, however excellent mocktails (Rose Mojito, Bloody Lychee), teas, and various classic beverages. We experienced a minor mix up with my order initially, I was brought a noodle dish with steak, but I think it was meant for another table since I don't eat meat and can't remember the last time I used steak in a sentence. It was an easy fix and we had zero other issues, aside for me leaving my bag at the table - they were super kind enough to flag us down on the sidewalk. Very clean and intimate inside with nice lighting from the street and their own special touch at night. Restrooms for customers Wi-Fi available upon request. Patio is pet friendly. Solid for groups, but absolutely plan ahead (they do take reservations). Open daily from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM on weekdays as well as from 3 PM until 9 PM Saturdays and Sundays.

According to other reviews that I have read earlier today, the restaurant is under new management/ownership. Walked in today around 4:45pm and got a very nice, warm welcome from Alex - the owner himself. He told me to have a seat anywhere that I wanted, so I did. Alex himself took my order and the food came out pretty quickly and fast. I was very hungry so I got 2 main entrées and their regular small salad with peanut dressing. Ordered their Pad See Ew with beef & shrimp that also came with well cooked broccoli. I also got their crab fried rice and stayed with my water. Both entrees were cooked really well and were hot & tasty. My only complaint was that the beef was a bit overcooked and hard to chew. A lot of to-go orders and delivery/pick up by 3rd parties. Place was SPOTLESS CLEAN, including their gender neutral restroom. They also had nice decor all around. I really enjoyed my lunch and the portions being HUGE, took the rest home for my son to eat.
