Local btw and we went out for a birthday the food was amazing I had the prefix meal they let you know with the menu provided. Thats its limited options, but the options were amazing and very fulfilling. The service was very fast. Our server was amazing and it is so nice and beautiful inside the restaurant, we booked in advance so we didn't have a wait time! Will be back

Valentine's Perfection on the Strip -- Steaks, Service, and a View That Stole the Show I had the pleasure of celebrating Valentine's Day with my fiancé at Ruth's Chris Steak House inside Harrah's Las Vegas, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our two servers were attentive, professional, and made the evening feel special without being overbearing. Every dish arrived hot, beautifully presented, and clearly made to order. The steak was absolutely delicious which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor -- exactly what you expect from a place known for quality. One of the highlights of the evening was our window seat overlooking the Las Vegas Strip at night. The view added such a romantic touch and made the dinner feel even more special. Honestly, I don't have a single negative thing to say. This restaurant is well-loved in the Las Vegas community for a reason. If you're looking for high-quality steak paired with an array of incredible sides and top-tier service, this is definitely the place to go. You won't be disappointed because you'll be taken care of from start to finish.

Came to visit a friend in Las Vegas over the weekend & He decided We go to Ruth's Chris for dinner on a Sunday night 12/14/2025. I've never been to this steakhouse before Ever, So didn't know what to expect. But once walking in & capturing the Awesome View of the Strip though the Glass windows, Seeing the nice chill vibe inside & The awesome & friendly customer service by ALL staff.. then I know it was time for dinner...!!! I had the Caesar salad, Some fresh baked bread W/butter, Some well cooked grilled asparagus, Hot, cheesy & flavorful potatoes Au gratin & Last a well seasoned, cooked & flavorful . Arnold Palmer to drink to wash it all down. The bill was $280 for 2 of Us. The view & the atmosphere made it worth every penny.. Great dinner & night

Came here for my dad's birthday--we're big Ruth's Chris fans, so this spot was a natural choice. We did valet ($40), which was pretty straightforward, but it is a bit of a walk through the casino to get to the restaurant. That's always a slight deterrent for me when I'm dressed up and just trying to get to dinner. I paid extra for a window table and a glass of champagne that was supposed to be served at the end of the meal, but I asked for it when we sat down instead--because birthday celebrations shouldn't have to wait. The food was on par with the Ruth's Chris brand we know and love, and the service was good. I'm not sure I'd pay extra for the window seating again, especially since the restaurant was fairly empty during our visit, but overall we still had a nice experience. I will be back.

I was at dinner with family so I wasn't going to take a bunch of pics. That would have been rude. All I can say is, Wow!! The food was absolutely superb! The filet I got was cooked to perfection and the garlic mashed potatoes, awesome! The dessert was the bomb! The ambiance is casual but not too much that dressing up for dinner would be just as appropriate. The service was top notch! Thank you for a wonderful dinner. Cheers!

Not going to lie, Ruth Chris always delivers delicious meals. Some days they are off but luckily this last visit was a great experience. Thank you Thomas for the great service. We also had a nice window seat so thanks to the host for the beautiful view. Always a treat and the breat was so hot and yummy. The dishes we ordered were amazing. Ribe Eye, BBQ Shrimp and Ahi Tuna. Washed down with a glass of Daou Cab. Overall, great experience.

Came here last night, I had made reservations for 7pm, we arrived early around 6:40pm the host stated that it would be closer to our dining time so we sat at the bar and had a drink, the bartender was really nice and inviting, I ordered a lemon drop martini and my friend ordered a prosecco, The manager came and sat us closer to 7pm. We had a table closer to the bar by the Private dining room, the table wasn't bad but everyone kept walking by using it as a shortcut to get to the bathrooms, but other than that our server was awesome she was busy but it was great seeing her interact and take care of all her tables, she walked us through the menu explained the concept of the restaurant and even suggested some items. We decided to do the 3 course menu I chose the scallops for an entree, Caesar salad for a starter and mashed potatoes for the side, the friend chose the same but got asparagus and a different salad, we also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer (Not pictured we ate those so fast). The food was paced out great, we had a great time conversing and catching up. The meal also included a cheesecake and chocolate brittle for dessert it was delicious, we walked out of there so stuffed! We had an amazing time thanks to our wonderful server and kind manager John for ensuring we had a wonderful experience. If you're in Vegas and are looking for a good dinner with a great experience I suggest Ruth Chris.

    Crab cakes, delicious.

Day 4 visit. Why Ruth's Chris when there are so many other incredible steakhouses in Vegas? Because I had two gift cards and I refuse to go back to the Walnut Creek, CA location because of a previous negative experience w the location's GM. This location at Harrah's is very old school, fancy w some great views of the strip. Staff was courteous, friendly and I could tell many of the patrons were repeat visitors on a first name basis. From the GM who checked the validity of my gift cards upon my request, to Nigel the bartender, to Jonathan my waiter, thank you for a great dining experience. For the past several years, my favorite drink has been the Gabitini at Mon Ami Gabi. Shout out Nigel the bartender for making the best dirty martini I've ever had. Ice chilled, shaken, smooth, w two blue cheese olives. I'm very picky about my crab cakes and Ruth's Chris consistently makes the best, west of the Mississippi. Little to no filler, broiled and delicious. And I believe they make one of the best filets out there, broiled to a perfect medium rare and served on a dish w a puddle of molten butter and steak juices, so good. Add a lobster tail and some lobster Mac & cheese, and I'm about to be very full. No dessert for me today.

Came here to have dinner with my partner for an early birthday celebration. The place wasn't packed which was nice. The view is very pretty with trees surrounding the restaurant. The service was great, the waitress constantly checked on us. Food was yummy but honestly a little overpriced. We got a side of creamed spinach that tasted off, so we didn't touch it. Otherwise the food was good. It was my first time going to Ruth's Chris steak.

Came in with a group for some dinner and I'm sorry to say but I was very disappointed. Our server was great and was a good sport, since my friends were a little drunk and had a lot of jokes for him. Only reason why this review went from 2 to 3 stars. I've never been to a Ruth Chris establishment before and was expecting a decent steak but that is not what I experienced. We ordered calamari appetizer (this was just ok), two Tomahawks two sides (cremini mushrooms and mashed potatoes) a bottle of wine, a glass of Merlot, and an Old Fashioned. For the price of a Tomahawk, I was expecting the best steak ever but ours was not that. It was tough to cut (even though we ordered ours medium and medium rare) and not a lot of flavor. Everything else was good but like I said, we spent over $700 for a very disappointing meal.

Was in Vegas celebrating our diamond Dinner. We got reservations on open table. Really beautiful place second floor Harrahs. Ordered asparagus, au gratton potatoes , bone in rib eye and filet. Plates came out extremely hot. Really tasty. Recommend

I like the meat quality Much Much better than the meat from Jose Andres restaurant! 200%! Service is great, attentive and professional. For 2 people, I chose the 3-course tasting menu with appetizer/salad, main course and dessert. My friend had the 24 ounce T-bone and au gratin (sliced potatoes with 3 cheese sauce) For the tasting menu, I had the 16 ounce ribeye medium rare. Although the flavor is there but the meat is too fibrous to me. Also, it's slightly overcooked. Man, you do need to be careful bc the player is extremely hot! My friend's t-bone, cooked to medium rare, in my opinion, is softer and not so stringy. We ended up switching the meat with each other as he liked mine better. LOL..... I also liked the sliced potatoes with 3 cheese sauce. It had a thick layer of cheeses on top and the potatoes are well seasoned, very flavorful! This is my first time coming to the Las Vegas location and I really liked it. It is a huge restaurant with with windows overlooking the strip/Caesars forum shops entrance. Overall, it's an enjoyable dining experience. Again, much much better than Jose Andres restaurant, quality wise and price wise.

Ask the Community - Ruth's Chris Steak House

    Do they need reservations?

The earlier you go I would say no.

I saw an advertisement on Instagram about their secret special 4 course meal from 4-6 pm. Is this true and what is the price?

    How do I make reservations?

You can find their information on the Harrah's website at https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-las-vegas/restaurants/ruths-chris-steakhouse. Their phone # is listed there, as well as their Open Table reservation link.

Can you use your rewards credits here?

Yes, you can. Just make sure you let the waiter know.

Does Ruth Chris have happy hour in Vegas?

Don't know but I'd suggest you don't sit and eat at the bar. My experiences have shown, in my opinion, the service at the bar at this location is awful.

Are Ruth Chris gift cards accepted here?

Yes! I just used my gift cards last evening 1/7/23

If we have tickets to a show at 7:30, what time should we get reservations at Ruth's Chris?

You should allow yourself an hour and a half to eat there

I'm Disabled From where an uber will drop us off what's the easiest way for us to get to Ruth'sChris without alot of walking? What floor is the restaurant on and is there an elevator?

Yes there is an elevator but it's at the front of Harrahs casino so there is no drop off close it's at the side of building

Is Happy Hour happening at Ruth's Chris? I know it wasn't in August.

No, I was just there and there was no Happy Hour!

Does this location accept cash at this time?

Yes, we do accept cash. Kindly let us know if there’s anything else we can assist you with. Have a great day.

If I'm going with 2 other couples, so a total of 3 couples, can we do separate tabs or we all have to put it together?

Thank you for choosing Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, yes, you are able to separate tabs. Please feel free to reach out if your have any other questions. Have a great day and looking forward on your visit.

    Slack shorts okay?

Yes. A friend of mine wore shorts.

Jeans, flannel, and tennis shoes okay? Came to Vegas for the NASCAR race and I don't go clubbing anymore, so I hadn't anticipated bringing anything dressy.

Yes. It's fancy, but not too fancy for jeans.

    Are children allowed?

    Yes!

My wife and I are elderly and don't have the appetite we used to. Is it possible to split a meal at Ruth's Chris?

    Absolutely!!!! Go Enjoy!!!!

Can you bring a cake from the outside if you're celebrating a birthday?

Hello Christina, Hope all is well, unfortunately we do not allow cake from the outside due to…

    Jeans and dress shirt ok?

Yes casual is fine for any restaurant in Vegas! Jeans are a go!

Does this location take Total Rewards credits?

I was there in the middle of December and we were able to use our reward credits to pay for the meal. This website shows all the places you can redeem credits and Ruth Cris is listed…

Does this location still have happy hour? As of 12/5/17, I can't find this locations as offering happy hour. I know they used to.

Yes, we do serve Happy Hour, Monday through Thursday 5pm-6pm, except on Holidays.

He was so enthusiastic about it that we decided to get it as one of our apps- but let me rewind and tell you a bit about the space Beautiful steakhouse(apparently a chain who knew), inside is nice and sleek but the patio rooftop is where it's at!! The staff hooked us up with the best table overlooking the strip at dusk , the lights the buzz the traffic sounds and of course the heat all gave us that perfect Vegas atmosphere Our server Jeff was fabulous- he gave us great recommendations on the menu and everything was on point He knew all 3 of us wanted to sample all the food so they brought everything out family style which was such a nice touch We shared a steak filet, branzino, ocean sushi roll , Parmesan truffle fries- My royal gin and tonic cocktail was great too I just loved it here and for the price point it was pretty amazing

It took 20 minutes for us to get seated, no big deal, just surprising for a fine dining establishment. Especially since the dining room was half empty. Once seated they tried to put us at a small little table by the bar, we asked for a different table and they understood right away which was great. We had fun watching them try to seat people at that little table and every one of them asked to be moved. Once seated we ordered the Parmesan scallops and bread service. Yes, you have to pay $10 for bread service. Amazing when your spending $300+ on dinner. No big deal when you're talking $300 for dinner, just silly. The scallops were fine, no need to order them again. Drinks were solid and fast. We then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for a medium rare steak and 1 crab cake. We weren't in a hurry, but felt crazy for how empty the restaurant was. The steak was ok. $78 for a dry aged NY steak. It was a bit dry and bland. The crab cake was really good. The star of the meal was the jalapeño au gratin. It was SO GOOD. The only thing I would recommend from here. Had a few bites of the steak and decided we would just rather leave. Took FOREVER to get our check and boxes. Can't imagine how bad service would've been on a busy night. It was half empty and still we waited. Overall it's not bad by any means. If you don't frequent fine dining, it might be good for you. For a $300+ tab, it just wasn't worth it. Our server was really nice. Not his fault the meal took so long to come out, he wasn't cooking it. We skipped desert just because it took too long to get our meals. With so many amazing options in Vegas for a nice meal I would skip ocean prime. It's fine, just not worth the price.

I paid in advance and even left a generous tip because I appreciate good service. Since I was working, I sent one of my employees to pick up the order. The online ordering system stated my order would be ready at 8:37. Despite arriving at the estimated pickup time, the order still wasn't ready, and he ended up waiting. When the food was finally ready, the pickup experience became even more frustrating. My employee was asked for ID before they would release the order. While I understand businesses have policies to protect customers, the way the situation was handled was unnecessarily rude. He was spoken to as if he had done something wrong and was told, "Next time, make sure you bring ID." What made this even more frustrating is that the order had already been paid for, including a generous tip. Realistically, who walks into a restaurant and randomly asks to pick up an online order under the name "Nobody Jones"? A simple confirmation of the order details or a more courteous explanation of the policy would have been much more appropriate than treating my employee like he was trying to do something dishonest. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the experience. The Cajun seasoning on the soft shell crab was flavorful, but the crab pieces were extremely small and barely resembled soft shell crab. The sweet potato fries were cold, bland, and lacked any flavor. To top it off, the "cocktail sauce" was nothing more than plain ketchup. Overall, between the delayed order, the unpleasant pickup experience, and the disappointing food quality, this was not an enjoyable meal. I expected much better and was very disappointed.

From the outside, the restaurant appears fairly unassuming, but once inside, it quickly impresses with its outstanding food and exceptional service. The ambiance is both lively and elegant, with tropical touches including large palm trees in the center of the dining room. Dark wood accents, white tablecloths, and the energetic atmosphere create a classic steakhouse feel with a touch of Las Vegas flair. My friend ordered the crab cakes and broccolini and said they were the best crab cakes she had in years. I chose the salmon with a baked sweet potato topped with praline butter, and both were outstanding. The salmon was fresh, perfectly crisp on the outside, and incredibly moist inside. The sweet potato was soft, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. A complimentary breadbasket was a nice added touch. My friend ordered key lime pie and I sampled it...delicious! What truly set the experience apart was the service. Our server, Armand, was knowledgeable, attentive, and professional without ever being intrusive. From excellent menu recommendations to perfectly timed food delivery, the meal was polished from start to finish. Excellent food, outstanding service, and a wonderful dining experience.

Food is something I think and yearn for until I come back. The seasonal oysters are better than the big ones they got. We usually get a spice of level 6. Nothing crazy but nothing bland. Ambiance changes based on who you sit next to. It can be chill and quiet but one time, there was a loud man who was fibbing amuck. He made this intimate 16 seat oyster bar into a comedy show. So yeah, depends on who you sit with. The people in Vegas are always so interesting.

We waited in line for almost 2 hours, but somehow it didn't even matter once we got inside. The second we sat down, our food came out in what felt like 2 seconds. Everything was hot, fresh, and seriously delicious. Every bite lived up to the hype. The chefs kept everyone entertained, cracking jokes and making the whole experience fun while they cooked. You can tell they love what they do, and it really adds to the vibe. The wait is definitely long, but now I understand why. Great food, great service, and an overall unforgettable experience. I'd happily stand in that line all over again!

It is comforting to see excellent service and a customer-first attitude result on longevity in the hospitality sector. This is a theme with the Park MGM and in a town like Las Vegas, there are many choices for employment, seeing so many of the same faces every time we come back speaks volumes for the leadership here. All this capped by the fact that Park MGM is a smoke-free resort, so you won't feel like you are licking an ashtray between bites. Yes, the food was spectacular. My go-to for Chinese take-out is General Tso's chicken and I avoided it here for a long time for that reason. I shouldn't have. The chicken was juicy, delicious, appropriately sauced, and had a touch of flavor I haven't identiifed yet that differentiated it from any I have tasted before. Even the vegetable fried rice, which you expect to be a simple side, competes for first billing with fluffy perfection, excellent, and (amazingly) the freshness of the scrambled egg! The house knew it was our anniversary and we were presented with a celebratory mochi sampler that was a perfectly balanced ending to the meal. If you love Asian food, you owe yourself this experience. Tell Saul we sent you.

I arrived back in early March, 2026 and this spot is still around and kicking it with delicious asian eats off the Vegas Strip. Located in the Park MGM, this is one of the few restaurants in Sin City that lives up to the price points. In 2024 when I came here, I remember having the red light potstickers which were freakin money! The spiciness from the chili oil with the scallion/ginger garnish and the texture of the dumpling made this one of the best appetizers on their list. Sadly I did not see it on the menu this time which made my heart sank. Fortunately they had a Xiao Long Bao dim sum available (soup dumplings) which come steaming in the bamboo steamers. Not to mention great taste as well! For entrees, my two recommendations are the Drunken Beef and the Beef Brisket Soup Noodle. The Drunken Beef is tender and packed with spiciness from the red chili with tender noodles, egg, thai basil, bell peppers, and sprouts. A very succulent noodle dish! If you're in the mood for soups, the Beef Brisket Soup Noodle is the way to go. There's tender chunks of brisket mixed in the broth with egg noodles and bok choy mixed in. Excellent spices with that 5-spice chinese smell that hits your nostrils when the bowl is placed in front of you. One of the most awesome noodle soups I've ever had! I usually sit at the bar area which is in front of the kitchen but tables are here too. Make reservations or come early as this place does get filled up. Cannot recommend this place enough; it's part of my rotation whenever I'm in Vegas!

Looking on Yelp for ideas in the area, we came across Luke's Lobster. After walking around, following maps to find it, we FINALLY found the little shack outside of New York New York. It's outside on the corner of the streets if you're looking for it. We ordered the lobster flight. This came with 3 small lobster rolls in different flavors: original, truffle and hot honey. My favorite was the hot honey. I like the sweetness of the lobster and the honey together with just a tiny kick to it. They were all good though. The man who helped us was friendly and prompt. We ordered and he told us he would bring out the food once ready. So we found a table nearby. It was maybe a 10 minute wait, so not super long. He brought out our food and we enjoyed every bite. I would recommend checking out Luke's if you're in Vegas and looking for some delicious food. There is plenty of seating around the area. Will definitely be back.
