I have never been to gas station that offers fried scallops as an option for you to consume. Gas station and seafood just don't seem like a thing that should mix.

Well lo and behold, I get on my car and can't find my cell phone anywhere although my car is indicating that it is nearby. Exhausted from ripping my car apart looking for it, I went into the store asking if someone could help me. They arranged for Micah to come out to help me!! And they did!! Two entrances/exits, one from Route 30 and one from Black Gap Rd. Plenty of pumps that aren't packed in. They just recently put in brand new pumps and re-paved. I'm surprised they didn't use chip readers on the card machines at the pumps. Pumps are easy to use with clear instructions. Many gas stations have staff of Middle Eastern origin working in them. Now, that's not a bad thing (and I don't want to sound like a bad person), but there can be a language barrier there, creating a communication difficulty. So, if you need some info when you stop at a gas station, it it can be difficult to get it. At this particular one, I've always seen staff who appear to be American, so that can be helpful to people traveling along Route 30. Trash cans are never over-flowing, the property is well kept. Air for your tires is available. Convenience store offers lots of beverage choices, hot and cold. Plus, some snack items. Sometimes the price of gas it a few cents higher than the large Rutters a mile East, but usually it is on par with other local stations.

Within the past 5 years or so, that has changed and now you can find craft brew pubs and beer in the convenience store, etc. We discovered this place a year or so ago because it was near the hotel in which we were staying. We were amazed how many different craft beers from across the United States they had in such a small location. They offer products in kegs, six packs, twelve packs, cases, and cans. For anyone looking for craft beer in the area, this is the place!

My husband set to putting on the spare and there was too much damage to the lugs and we needed new ones. It was more than my husband could do on the fly, so we called our road side assistance through Nationwide. They only handle basic tire changes so we had to find someone to do it ourselves (thanks Nationwide!!!). It was after 5pm when we realized that, and most places were closed. I went into the Sheetz to talk to Tif the Manager to tell her what was going on and if it were ok that we stay there until we get help. She was so gracious and understanding and made us feel safe that we could be there as long as we needed. She gave us fountain drink coupons and let us come in and sit in the dining area to get out of the heat (there was a heat wave going on). We had dinner there (which was quite yummy) and freshened up in the very clean bathroom. An employee named Max was also there to assist us and she was very nice also. Luckily we were only two hours from home and our auto tech son and some friends came to rescue us. So, we were there about 6 hours. Knowing that we had a safe place to stay until we found help made the ordeal so much easier to deal with. Thank you Tif and Max AND Sheetz for hiring such good people!! We appreciate the help you gave us. We go to the sheetz in VA where we live all the time and wherever we are when we travel. We always find friendly employees, good food, and clean bathrooms.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Would give NO stars, if possible. We took 2 bacons that we had butchered in to…read morehave our bacon cured and sliced. They claimed it would be 2 weeks for them to finish our meat. Three weeks later, we had to call them to see if our food was done. They stated yes, it had been sitting there. we get it back and they wasted half our bacon, calling them "ends." I grew up in a butcher shop and the ends we left weren't half the bacon side as these people did. When dropping our meat off, they acted like it was the world's biggest inconvenience for them to DO THEIR JOB. I'm absolutely livid that they claim this is decent work. We will NEVER return here, and will tell everyone to avoid going to them.
