I started with the octopus, but it wasn't for me--it was way too sweet and had a cotton candy purée, which just didn't hit right. I'm used to a more classic grilled octopus flavor, so I ended up switching it out to the beef flanken, which was okay. The best part? The meal was practically FREE using the free money you can use at the restaurants. Tip of the day: Always play using your player's card--you'll rack up perks like free food and comps. The place itself is gorgeous. Sitting in here you wouldn't even know that you're inside a casino. We did have a reservation and were immediately seated upon arrival but I have a feeling that you may not need one. Now let's Get to the food- it was DELICIOUS. They started us off with some delicious warm bread. I'm a sucker for bread and this one did not disappoint. Their butter had some olive oil and peppercorn on top that made the bread taste even better. As for our main entree-Their menu has a lot of great options. They have both the typical steakhouse menu items -steaks, pork chops, Mac & cheese, veggies but they also offer an Asian side of the menu. We went with the fried rice and beef & broccoli and let me say, I'm still thinking about it days later!! It was SOOO good! The beef was tender and flavorful, made with long pieces of broccolini. Came here over the weekend to celebrate my bffs bday with her parents. They knew the waitress and she was super nice. My friends mom asked for a pasta dish they used to have that wasn't on the menu and they totally made it for her. It was pasta with black pepper and asparagus it was very light and really good. OKAY! So RW Prime was amazing. Our server was a little overwhelmed because we were a big group, but realizing it was my grandmother's 92nd birthday, he made up for it. It's absolutely beautiful inside and comfy. Even though they have 2 menus there's not alot to choose from. The branzino was good it would have been great but there was bacon in the beans, that wasn't called for and I would prefer it without the beans altogether. Let me say I had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. The very first night the casino opened up 24 hours. I was trying to get a table they said, ohh, we're not allowing people in because it's a private affair. Going on?. 2 days later, I was able to get a seat only at a crowded bar. My wife and I go to RW Prime every time we go to Resorts World which is a number of times a year. We know the workers there and they know us a we are not stingy when it comes to tipping. Last week my wife and I went and sat at the bar as we always do. Previously we had the NY steak and it was very good. This time, my wife suggested we again have steak and I said let's get the rib eye. If the NY was very good, then this has to be awesome. Well, let me tell you it was a complete letdown. Not sure where they got this meat but is was horrible. We are not food complainers so trudged through as much of this steak we could handle until I finally spit the last piece out on my plate leaving a very large piece of the $95 steak on the plate. My jaw was tired from chewing and I was tired of chewing and chewing a rib eye. I guess it did not mean to much to the chef as our bartender went in and said something and he never came out. She was nice enough to take the drinks off the bill. But here's the kicker. I sat down and wrote a letter this week to Resorts World because I wanted them to know that their top class restaurant served us a rib eye that was like leather. Explained everything just like I did here and ya know what....I didn't hear squat from them. My wife said "You're not going to hear from them. RW Prime, located in the World Resorts casino in Jamaica is a must visit when in the area. It's located on the second floor of the building tucked away in the corner. We made reservations for four adults and my niece under one. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely woman named Carol who promptly seated us and offered a baby seat for the little one. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and seemed to be newly renovated. RW has a great drink menu with interesting crafted cocktails. Unfortunately, the round of drinks we ordered all had ginger beer as the main ingredient- which the restaurant didn't have that evening :( I opted to try the margarita which was recommended by our server and it was delicious. The food menu is EXTENSIVE! They got really creative with this steakhouse, by offering an "East" and "West" menu. The East has a more Asian flair, while the West more typical steakhouse options. We got a few options from both sides of the menu and none of the items disappointed us. I can't wait to come back to RW Prime and try the other items on their menu. If you are in the area, and looking for a high end, not overly priced steakhouse with an Asian twist, add this restaurant to your list. The beef chow fun smelled good but the beef was terrible quality - especially considering this is a steak house. It was thin and chewy, the consistency reminded me of a frozen dinner. Came here for my auntie birthday celebration. We were a party of 6. I called ahead and made reservations. The staff was very friendly and professional. I have a horror story just in time for the Halloween season here it goes: My Dad who was flying in from JFK asked me to set up a family dinner for 5 at 5pm on Sunday. The appetizer came out and my steak came right out with it. I was like ok and decided to taste some calamari with the (extra spicy sauce) and wait until the rest of the food came to tuck in. And the food NEVER came. The lemons never came. The wine never showed up. They brought out some random shrimps like 15 minutes later apologizing for the wait and that's when I realized wait- something isn't right. My poor dad was starving and my food was cold at that point. After another 15 minutes we requested the manager was his name was Kurt I think. He was a young black man and he DID not fix things. Can you imagine like I really couldn't believe I saw him ten minutes later looking for the waiter LOOKING FOR- my brother; that's when you roll up your sleeves and get in that kitchen and FIGURE it out- you don't come back to the table to pick up the cold sides to warm in the back- YOU BRING OUT NEW ones. A quaint comfortable first date or single seating , you will love it. I was so happy. It started out with a nice welcome at the door, at the table by Carlos who kindly ask if I wanted bread and offer water too. Recommended by he salmon. The bread and olive butter was delicious. Marie, my waitress was so sweet and patient and asked all the right questions that I'd like to be asked when I sit down and eat so I have no expectations of my own and know what I'm getting. I recommend the house salad be chopped because it's shocking when you get it - it's big pieces and it's a lot but it was delicious and they did it with a smile. RW Prime is ResortWorld's newly reopened restaurant. I dined there prior to the recent renovations so I was curious to see how the changes affected things. The newly imagined decor seems like a cross between a Diner and The Capital Grille. Armchairs and white tablecloths are gone replaced by Kitchen Dinette chairs and Formica tabletops. A few people took care of us initially, but our main server was, according to the check, Marie, and she was cordial, polite and genuinely caring. Bread basket was great with chunks of warm soft raisin bread. Appetizers were the Peking Duck and Tuna Tartare . Both were non traditional with the Peking Duck allegedly wrapped in Steamed Buns that were reminiscent of sponges. The duck surprisingly had little taste. Tuna Tartare was good. Main courses were the Halibut and the Crispy Chicken. The Halbut was good. The Crispy Chicken was reminicent of Chicken Scarpiello, A 1/2 chilken cut up haphazardly into chunks. It was difficult to eat due to the prominence of bones. Again, little taste except for the dipping sauce on the side. The baby bok choy with garlic sauce was excellent as was the sticky Toffee pudding desssert with maple ice cream. Coffee was fine. Expect a leisurely 2 hour meal here. read more

Now I see why some patrons left one star reviews. We came here in October 21st to celebrate my mother's birthday. She loves seafood and so ordered the 2 lb lobster from the West portion of the menu. When ordering, my sister even pointed to it on the menu, to differentiate it from the Cantonese style lobster on the East menu. Lo and behold, they bring out the wrong one. They then say "oh sorry, three minutes". Three minutes turned into an hour. We spoke to no less than 4 people about it and were continuously given this false impression that it would be out in a few minutes. One hostess/floor manager even lied and told me she didn't know about our situation (which makes no sense because SHE walked over to US, saying we ordered something we didn't like) to which i responded that she in fact did because she and our waiter were huddled in a corner in my direct line of vision looking at the menu discussing it. Last night I had an unpleasant dining experience at R W Prime, I went with the price fix menu they had for restaurant week. I had a Caesar salad which was fine, my husband had Korean short ribs which were all grizzle, nerve and fat, and sooo tough. We then had steak and potatoes, which again the meat was so tough I couldn't cut it, or chew it. TERRIBLE! Our desserts were just ok, too sweet for our taste I mentioned to our waiter our problems (Carlos) who was extremely pleasant, but, unfortunately, NOTHING was done. A very dissatisfied diner.
