It was obvious from the minute we met with him that he was experienced, patient, and knew how to interpret what we wanted when we weren't even exactly sure! We are experienced home remodelers and it was great to work with someone who completely met our very high expectations and requirements. Aaron was extremely detail oriented and responsive, had great recommendations for products and colors that would look best with the overall vibe of the house, and kept us informed every step of the process with daily text updates/pictures. Project was completed on time. The floors are absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier. Very disappointing, expensive and time-consuming experience overall. The original quote to repaint…read morehouse was reasonable and we wanted to go with a local small business. Owner seemed great and crew was very friendly and hard working. The job started well but then the first work showed obviously inadequate prep, like painting over old peeling paint and failing to repair or replace pieces of trim that needed to be fixed and that were included in the original specifications. Got that done or redone but then for painting trim around windows they issued a new quote, which nearly doubled the cost of the job and made it more expensive than the competing quotes for more established companies. We went with it anyway because we needed the work finished and didn't have time to find a new painter. But this all dragged on for months, with the crew only present for short periods, and only showing up when specifically badgered to do so. Even now, about 7 months in they still have debris all over the place (though much we've had to clean up ourselves), including empty paint cans and broken glass from several storm windows that they broke in handling, or that broke after falling because they were reinstalled improperly (with others left off entirely). They also failed to fix siding damaged presumably while power washing, and left a substantial part of the original job unfinished despite promising it's completion for months, with a portion of the house still draped in tarp to keep out weather. At this point they seem to have ghosted us entirely, despite regular friendly enquiries and reminders. So all in all this seems to have been a big mistake and we are back to hunting for someone who will take on a relatively small and unappealing job that we still just don't have the time to do on our own.

The quality of his work is excellent, but what truly sets Matt apart is the kind of person he is. He is honest, dependable, hardworking, and incredibly kind. He takes pride in his work and genuinely wants his customers to be happy with the finished result. More than once, Matt has gone out of his way to help us with additional tasks that weren't part of the original job and didn't charge us extra. That's almost unheard of these days. He never makes you feel rushed, always takes the time to answer questions, and is the type of person who treats your home with the same care and respect he would treat his own. While we've personally used him for smaller projects, his experience goes far beyond that. He is skilled in tile work, bathrooms, kitchens, basement finishing, remodeling, and general home repairs.
