Minimal appointments were available with the manager the next day, so I adjusted my schedule as did my business partner to ensure we kept the appointment and was timely arriving. I checked in at window 5 minutes before my appointment and was created at least 20 minutes later. The manger was apologetic and provided explanation. When meeting with her she was patient and addressed all my needs in a very professional manner explaining and proving explanation each step of the way. Staff was helpful as usual. This experience was pleasant and helpful. In the past I had encountered some y with getting an appointment or immediate service. However, services always given with a smile. Very valuable to financial needs end location is convenient.

I've kept my accounts here just because of convenience and longevity. Came to this branch at 1p to make a deposit. I asked for a notary service stamp and was turned down as I was told no one had "appointments". Having done these services for previous customers I said "it would not take more than 5 minutes to complete" to which one of the tellers replied "the bankers cannot 'squeeze' you in as they have appointments all day". I just made a comment that if no one was available, I didn't mind driving to UPS where they could fulfill this request without an appointment. I've kept my personal and business accounts with PNC as a previous employee. But have been very motivated in moving these to Chase as they seem to give less hassle for services.

While…read morestanding at the ATMs in the front, a crazed out guy comes in stomping around and tried asking me if I got any money from the machine! Quickly clicked cancel and decided to go inside where security was. Security went out and ran the guy off once they heard him continuing to make a scene. Inside, there was a line with 4 people, others sitting down against a wall, and a SINGLE teller working the line, the drive-thru, AND answering phones! One teller on a Saturday. The line grew longer and longer and people began complaining in line about the staff shortage. After waiting nearly 25 mins and 2 of the 4 people in fron of me had been serviced, one of the sitting people jumps out of his seat and is bumped in front of the person that was next. At this point I walked out as other people in line also did. Another customer told me it was ALWAYS like this (ie 1 teller) because no one wants to work there due to all the robberies! I hate coming here because I know it won't go well. I bring my attorney with me to make sure I am communicating clearly and it still isn't easy. I keep this account because it's sentimental to me because my dad started it for me when I was a child. When I ask for a six figure check the teller will announce to the entire room gasping who needs a check like this? I do and I don't want the whole neighborhood to know. My business banker that I talk to on the phone and never met treats me like gold. These people I see and bring longs donuts to are difficult to deal with. To me bank tellers are customer service representatives but I don't think they're trained that way. For people with simple banking needs this will probably suit you well. For a business this might not be the best option.

I've been to this particular PNC branch a number of times for various reasons. Each time I got…read moreexactly the help I was looking for. What makes this branch different than others is the amount of security. If you don't go alone, note that you have to enter solo, stand in the detector vestibule until you're buzzed in and the second door unlocks letting you into the lobby. Then you'll notice all the tellers are stationed behind barred windows. I've never been to another PNC location like this, and I understand why it may be necessary but it's nevertheless a little jarring. Though I've never felt unsafe here. On one memorable visit, I was there to cancel my debit card and get a new one as my information had been compromised and someone was charging things to my account. The manager helped set everything straight but kept me in his office, chatting about security in a life-lecture-y way for about 45 minutes. I'm sure he was just trying to be friendly but since a friend had driven me there as a favor, I was rather frustrated with his long-windedness. I will also note that the tellers here are usually very friendly.
