I believe they migrated here from the former Swedesboro location. I've been an AAA member for years. The travel expert at this location, Carol, has helped members of my family with previous trips and came highly recommended for my upcoming travel to Ireland and the Czech Republic. I'd usually just do most of the planning process on my own, but this has been a last-minute trip decision and I needed some guidance STAT. Fortunately for me, when I walked in Monday afternoon, Carol was on her way back from lunch and didn't have a queue. She gave personal attention with my trip planning, which I appreciated. She helped me book a car through a reputable company, signed me up for travel insurance for a couple months at a reasonable rate, and directed me to the cashier to sign up for an international driving permit. I was at AAA longer than I imagined, but it was a fruitful trip. AAA's membership perks have definitely been helpful locally, nationally, and globally. After having State Farm insurance for more than 30 years, I had a major claim (all ceilings collapsed, all flooring destroyed, etc etc) for which the other party took full responsibility. I immediately called Troy's office and was told not to file a claim with them (MY insurance company!) but with the other company. This resulted in 2 weeks of limbo (not being able to live in my home) until I finally demanded that Troy's office take my claim. Troy wouldn't even take my call until I threatened to call the NJ consumer affairs. Even after talking to him, pleading with him to help me since I couldn't even live in my home he did absolutely nothing. Refused to come out and see the damage, refused to do anything except tell me he was offended that I was "disappointed" in his complete lack of concern! I tried contacting him again to get him to explain the process and he just sent an email saying he passed my concerns along to my claims rep. HE DID NOTHING! Everyone else at State Farm on the corporate level has been great, the claims rep, the adjuster, the company that handles finding a place for me to live, etc. so I will keep State Farm but Troy McAuliffe is completely useless when you need help the most. PLEASE find a different State Farm agent because if you ever have a claim Troy will be of no help, none.
