I turned around and nursed it into Elkins and the first shop I saw was a little hole-in-the-wall place called "See's Automotive" and I immediately u-turned and went in. I gave Tommy the situation and he said he could take a look if I didn't mind waiting for his current customer to finish up. Ended up being a cylinder 1 misfire, needed a coil and plug. Swapped out all of them on bank 1 and I was back on my way and at a very reasonable price. They knew I was at their mercy being from out of town with an undrivable car but they were honest, and friendly and even took care of my GSD and Malinois I had in the back. Unfortunately, they cross-threaded two of the lug nuts on one of my rims. I am only discovering this 10 months later after a tire shop could not remove the lug nuts on one of my rims. I had to take it to another mechanic to get them off as I could not (they were free spinning). It cost me $360. All for a very avoidable mistake by these guys.
