Steak Benedict and breakfast burrito with steak added
    Diana T.

I actually enjoyed this place, came here after a run on the beach with my cousin and decided to give it a try. I'm so happy we did, I got the steak Benedict and my cousin got the steak breakfast burrito. There was so much flavor in the food. Service was good our waitress was sweet and attentive. The restaurant itself is just your typical local beach restaurant not much to it, they had outdoor seating which was nice. Unfortunately due to the hurricanes they are temporarily closed for renovations but I am patiently waiting for them to open to have that steak Benedict again!

This was our first time at Ryan's, and just happened upon it. We walked in and seated immediately, looked to be a busy lil cafe, with outside seating.. The service was pleasant, coffee nice/strong, stayed full. Extensive bfast/lunch menu, ordered a Build your own Omelette w/home fries and toast, Generous portions, crispy home fries very good, husband got the regular breakfast w/hashbrowns, and enjoyed it. Great lil beach vibe for breakfast with an upbeat staff. Great lil find

Welcoming little restaurant w/ nice patio seating. Got to park right next to our table even! Huge menu to pick from & lotsa Pastrami options which I was spying. Lunch & breakfast served all day. I decided on pastrami burger with side salad ($2 upgrade definitely worth it), it was a monumental burger experience. Half lb. Patty plus 1/4 lb shaved Pastrami w/ melted Swiss & LTO made for a belly buster. This will be too much food for the normal stomach but luckily I can handle it. My wife loved her order of Athena's Cali Benedict, which is a healthy twist on eggs Benedict. Fish tacos were raved about by my aunt. Kids meals were fine. Mozzarella sticks were awesome. Server was friendly & attentive. Prices seemed about right for the location. Would go back.

    Breakfast is served! Yummy

A must try when in Clearwater beach Try to go early, no waiting - staff is friendly as can be. Super nice making recommendations I had the Belt buster, eggs, toast, home fries, pancakes, sausage - the most tasty breakfast ever had. Can't wait to come back ;)

    French Toast

Came on a Sunday morning for brunch and was seated and served quickly. I had the French toast and my fiancé had the omelette. The food was not special. The French toast was bland and the hash browns were burnt. The omelette was good though. Also, there are no prices on the drink menu so I paid $5 for a small orange juice glass. The service was good but the food needs improvement.

Excellent service. Fast & friendly. Sweet Tea- best ever! Mahi Taco's & Bacon Cheeseburger we're exactly what we needed for a filling and easy lunch! Restaurant known for breakfast also has a great and varied lunch menu! Would definitely recommend - and can't wait to go back for brekkie before we leave town!

Went to breakfast around 10:00 on a Saturday morning. The 5 of us were seated right away. Opted to sit inside due to the heat. The staff grereted us right away and were friendly. The restaurant is small inside and a small curbside patio. The food was decent and priced fairly. I ordered the breakfast bowl wothpit cheese while the family had fruit bowl, bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, iron man omelet, and kid's grilled cheese. The breakfast bowl had scrambled eggs and bacon with potatoes. It was dry without cheese. I should have requested an over easy egg. The iron man omelet had good flavor and the fruit bowl had plenty of fruit. The rest of the food was bland. Overall not a bad deal for a quick breakfast with friendly service.

The good - service, food, location, cine, prices, parking. The bad - omelet not as good as expected. The ugly - nothing.

Went on a Friday morning with some friends. We were served right away. I ordered the steak benedict. The medium steak was decent and the portion was generous. My son liked his Angel's omelette, and the server rightly suggested to put the jalapeños on the side.

Great little local and tourist spot for strong coffee and hearty breakfast. Reasonable prices too. Quick courteous service to boot.

This is the best breakfast spot in clearwatwr beach. Food is really good, great atmosphere, and great service. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome. Pretty big too. Wife had eggs benedict and it was awesome. I dont normally come out to the beach to eat but Ill definetely be back here for breakfast. Their bloddy marys come fully dressed with olives, bacon, celery. Loved my bloody marry. I bet this place gets super busy during summer. I can't believe ive lived in this area for 4 years and never been. Great breakfast spot!

Courtney was my waitress, and even when slammed, she never forgot me. She was professional and did an outstanding job both times I ate with her. As for the food, it was the best I had in Clearwater. I prefer Diner and Dive local eats compared to overpriced and pretentious restaurants. I had the seafood platter and the Grouper sandwich, and both were outstanding and grilled to perfection. Great prices and solid food…read more I recently read a book about how most grouper isn't actually grouper. The book called out that Frenchy's grouper is the real deal because they fish for it themselves. That was enough to make me want to try this restaurant. I'm glad they have this location, because it was two minutes from Opal sol where we were staying. We were here at about 1130 on a Saturday and there was tons of seats available. It doesn't seem that big, but being that it's pretty far south from a lot of other places I think the size fits the demand. You can sit outside on the first floor or upstairs. Upstairs, there were only about eight tables, but it was air-conditioned and we had a nice view of the beach. All the drinks are so inexpensive. We are talking less than $10 each. I got a butter, pecan old-fashioned and my husband got a margarita and we both enjoyed our drinks. For our entrées, I got a super grouper grilled sandwich with coleslaw, my younger son got a pretzel that was in the shape of Fish, my older son got a chicken tender basket, and the two of them shared, and my husband got a peel and eat shrimp. This was the perfect amount of food for all of us, we ate it all. The pretzel was a huge hit, it comes with queso, and the kids demolished it. The grouper sandwich tasted a little dry, but again I love the fact that it is real grouper so I would definitely try again. Service was pretty quick and music was old school (think Price). I really enjoyed this place and we will definitely come back.

We were seated as soon as we arrived, and throughout our visit the service was really good. My friend and I were having a very hard time deciding, and when we asked the server, she flat out told us that the two things we were torn between were awesome and we should order both and split them. We got the shrimp and grits and the lobster Benedict. On their own, the grits weren't anything special, although they were texturally great. Now when you add the shrimp and gravy . . . This dish is a whole other deal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was super well balances. It had the perfect level of spice. The lobster Benedict had a perfectly poached egg, and it worked so well. The mornay sauce was a lovely touch. I'd definitely order it again, but I would also definitely order the shrimp again. Long story short, our server was right, they were both amazing. I also got a standard Bloody Mary, which was solid. I would definitely go back to this place. It's got an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere, and I think it's a great spot for locals and out of towners alike. It's also well priced. I'd also love to try their beignets or French toast next time. They've also got a huge lunch/dinner menu that I'd definitely want to try if I were in town for longer.

Ambience was like your regular breakfast place or diner, but definitely family friendly. We were there with our 8 month old baby boy and felt comfortable. Food tasted pretty okay, we ordered coconut shrimp, fish n chips and chicken tacos for brunch! The fish was a little undercooked and the batter was still a bit wet inside. Other items were not bad. For drinks, I ordered their popular pomegranate mimosa which came really flat (no bubblies) and in a wine glass! I sent it back and got a mojito instead - which tasted a lot better! Additionally, we were not aware the breakfast menu closes at 12 pm and we were already seated, so kind of felt obligated to order from the lunch menu at around 12.05 pm! It was too early for a sea food lunch for us! We saw the table next to us had ordered breakfast just a few minutes before us but we were denied because it was already past noon. Overall a pretty average experience. I was expecting a little more authentic experience but turned out to be just like your local diner.
