Ryffel is about running, and takes that job seriously. This place has a huge selection of shoes, and a staff that knows feet, legs, strides, and soles. Yes, they've got the gimmicky foot-camera so you can see how the soles of your feet contact the ground, or how your ankles pronate when you stand on one foot; I'm not terribly convinced, but they seem to be. Looked like a fairly extensive clothing selection as well --- but I was here for shoes, and just shoes, and after several other shops failed, Ryffel delivered. From Zürich, hop the S-bahn out to Uster, then take the 817 to the new Seeweg stop (not yet marked on all maps); Ryffel's about 30 meters east.
