We got our Christmas tree from Flowers in the Wind this year…read more It was quite hard to work out the best place to get our tree from, living in an area with not much going on -- and certainly no obvious sign of tree sales! But we were recommended by a friend of the owner to go to Flowers in the Wind and so I headed right there. The service that they gave in the shop was warm, personable and accommodating - I almost forgot I was still in London! The gentleman serving me listened to my needs (smaller budget, need delivery) and I chose a nice 5ft tree from the selection, and they agreed to deliver it for free to our house within the next two hours. They actually showed up much sooner than that and dropped off the tree. They had attached a stand to it, which hadn't been put on properly and made the tree crooked. Looked like a quick and sloppy job. The guy delivering was also in such a rush, that he managed to scrape our wood floor with it. But when I got home I was amazed... it wasn't the tree that I selected and paid for. This tree was much nicer, and 7ft++ tall!!! We have no idea whether this by accident or intent, but we are having a very jolly Christmas in this household now!

A week later, Box 2 is a bouquet and the still fresh flowers of Box 1 can be cut down to smaller posies. The third week, Box 1 still has bits for bud vases, Box 2 is in posie, cut down vases, and Box 3 is the grand bouquet. Flowers everywhere!
