I had fried fish cakes and pommes frites, and it was awful…read more The fish cakes were raw on the inside and smelled strange, not like fresh fish, and the pommes frites were a sorry lot, pale, soft and soaking in oil. When I complained I got a rude answer, indicating that I know nothing about fish cakes or pommes frites. Don't go to "Havnens Perle", there are plenty of other fish restaurants in Hundested which are good.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place while we were heading to the beach. We got an assortment…read moreof foods however the one item that really stood out was a dish that was like a beef pot pie. It was honestly one of the best dishes I have ever had. It had a perfect crust and was flaky, and the meat was juicy and tender in a mushroom sauce that was AMAZING. The people that work at the restaurant were very welcoming and warm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also, this little town is ADORABLE and very peaceful. More people need to venture out of Copenhagen and visit this little town.
