There's a DJ, the music's not too loud, there are bikes and bike bits everywhere, the bar looks modern and bright, and the long continuous couch down one wall makes it natural for groups to mix with each other.
The doors are kept open, so in winter it was quite cold inside. Bike people are always wearing bike outfits, us muggles kept our jackets on.
