We had a classic Turkish breakfast which really was quite a feast and everything looked as tasty as it was. The breakfast included Turkish coffee and tea, Menamen, Eggs, different types of breads, cheeses and jams, french fries and more. Everything tasted super fresh and we had a great time trying everything. The meal exceeded our expectations by far! The place itself was simple but lovely. They have a spacious patio and a few neighborhood cats roaming around. All in all, this was probably the best meal I had while in Bodrum. I'd be back in a heartbeat!

For what it's worth, the bread is better than the stale stuff you get at most places. The kasseri salad was fine, although the waiter forgot to bring out olive oil, lemon juice, and vinegar for a long while, so that we had already ravenously eaten through half the bowl. Oh, well. The tables on the patio didn't appear to be super clean, either, but there were also a lot of people hanging around playing backgammon and smoking. Not guidebook worthy, no, but a-ok by Bodrum standards.

Le Roka's best order is the doner, slithers of real beef and not that processed 'dog meat' minced doner we get in so many places in the UK. Also the lahmacun (pronounced la majoon) in english) is excellent, its a flat thin crust type of pizza with grund lamb and onions on it. Because of its location at the begining of bar street and on the sea its a also a nice place to start your night if you are heading for the Halikarnos (an open air club) probably the most famous on the Aegean coastal region of Turkey. Le Roka does lovely full size Turkish Pides (pizza) also and steaks and mezes also. It opens 24 hrs in season and many locals go there for late nite/early morning soup.
