I brought in two pairs of mint condition vintage athletic shorts to Yana's for elastic waist replacement. I provided two packages of very difficult to find "Unique Brand Ribbed Wide Elastic." This elastic is specifically designed for active wear. Both of my athletic shorts were instead returned with " 1/2 waist elastic that is skinny and smooth" that twists wildly. Both pairs of shorts are currently unwearable. This was not an honourable retail experience at Yana Alterations.

A year ago I took it to a local leather specialist for a repair to the lining and cuff stitching, and they did a very poor job. Yana fixed their mistakes. She just performed an even more difficult repair on the same jacket, and I could not be more impressed with the quality of her work, the value of her services, or her professionalism.
