First, the cleaners didn't bring their own supplies and used up a tenant's entire bottle of Dawn dish soap--and the owner actually got upset when the tenant asked for it to be replaced. Before the job started, I asked the owner how much the oven would cost. She quoted me $25. I asked if the refrigerator was included, and she said yes, so I asked if we could swap them and just do the oven instead of the fridge. She told me the fridge was already done. She then admitted she forgot to tell her employees to clean the oven that day, so she said they would come back the next day--but changed the price to $30. I sent the $30 anyway just to get it done, but they completely ghosted me and never showed up. Taking extra money for a mistake she admitted to, and then failing to show up, is completely unacceptable.

Of course I was being nice when I told Michael I was happy with the clean. It was fine. Not outstanding. But satisfactory. I even told his wife the things they missed. And they were never addressed. Which is fine. I am pretty laid back person until you accuse me of being a liar and threaten me. A service was provided for me and I am required to pay for that service. Which I did. And the first check I sent to Regal Maids was cashed. I even tried to schedule another clean after first hearing from Michael's wife that my check hadn't been received. I was going to continue to use their service. I never had the intention of not paying for the service I received. I sent them a check. The check was cashed. But not by them? Even if it was mailed to them? Ok, who was it cashed by? Can you wait to let my bank do an investigation to see? No. They would not wait they asked for another check. I could not get to my bank in time, so they threatened to put a lien on my house. So I went and paid in cash and had to cancel the second check my bank was sending them. So my experience was terrible. Especially since I found a company that did a better deep clean for half the price and in half the amount of time. I read the reviews on yelp before I used Regal Maids service. All of them were fantastic. However, my experience was not. Which is why I wrote a review. If other people disagree, they are more than allowed to. People form their own opinions about everything. And like Michael said "The reviews can speak for themselves." I got several quotes,and their prices were competitive, all their staff were responsive and professional. They were patient with me when I changed the date of service twice due to unforeseen circumstances. Sergio did a spectacular job in my kitchen, and meticulously cleaned the oven, sink, appliances, etc which had been neglected for several months after a difficult pregnancy, life with a newborn, and lots of family guests. Mickey did an excellent job in our bathrooms and I was very satisfied.   They were not able to finish the entire house in the alloted time, but hit all my pain points very well, and offered to come back at a later time to finish the job. They made my space feel so clean, I very much enjoyed their help. Well worth the price and I will be using them for biweekly cleaning.
