This is worth the drive if you live in West Linn/Oregon City area. The plants are of excellent quality and the staff are so friendly. Huge assortment of multi-flowered baskets in 12" - 14" to city baskets. Prices are great!! Only place I buy baskets!!! Go before Mother's Day for a better assortment. S & K is a fun little nursery with a mix of annuals, perennials, vegetables, succulents, and houseplants, leaning heavily on the annuals. They also had many hanging baskets. Noteable finds were hardy hibiscus, anemones, and strawberry blonde marigolds. While they have the main retail space where you check out, you can also explore the greenhouses to see what else is available. I got a beautiful cape primrose, hot 'n spicy oregano, and a couple ranunculus. I noticed their herbs were a lot larger and more established than what you generally find. Prices were about in line with other wholesale retail nurseries and somewhat less than big box stores. They also had some of their early spring plants like pansies and bulbs marked down, so if you don't mind a wait you could stock up. The employees were super friendly and helpful! read more

I really liked this place, so much I'm writing a review on Google and on here. This place has Great prices! No kidding, coming from Portland, I was very satisfied with my purchase of indoor houseplants. I just happened to see this on my way back home and had to stop in, lucky I did. Got a gorgeous string of dolphins for $15, a full one like this one would have easily cost me $45 in Portland. I also got a very large alocasia odara for $25, I checked a local nursery and it would have been almost a hundred. S&K is a delightful nursery filled with great, healthy plants. One of the workers, Polly, is very helpful and knowledgeable. She is very busy, but always seems to have time to come and help. One side benefit are the fresh hen eggs sold at the check out counter. read more

I have been going to family owned S&K for 10 years now. You cannot beat their fuschia baskets! They have been going up in price each year but last year they were on sale when I went for $25 each! The year before I believe they were $33. They have several different kinds and the baskets are always large and very healthy. They also have a ton of other hanging baskets and mixed potted arrangements that are absolutely beautiful. They have a very large variety of individually potted plants that I make my own baskets and pots out of. The only reason I did not give five stars is that they are not terribly helpful even when you are wandering around obviously looking for something. But the quality of their plants, reasonable prices especially compared to chain stores is fantastic and I highly recommend them. As an aside there is no public restroom but there are port a potties in the parking lot. read more

Their hanging baskets could only be described as SPECTACULAR. They are really high quality and just beautiful. I've had strangers pull over and ask me where I got them at. I live in Oregon City, but drive down once a year to get some for my front porch. It is well worth it. Their prices are seriously half of what you'd expect to find anywhere else, and you wouldn't find the quality that they have either. read more

S&K Nursery is a rare find for all your annual flower choices. We have purchased many, many geraniums throughout the years and have found them to be the best anywhere. The greenhouse is so clean you can eat off the floors. The colors are spectacular and long lasting once you plant them.
