I followed up many times to only be told it could wait till the next tuning. Fast forward to the present. Got piano tuned on 10/20/22 and he still didn't show up with the part but said he would order it and stop by again. It's been nearly 2 months and several text and NO FOLLOW THRU! The piano hadn't been tuned in 40 years and had been moved cross country It sounded pretty awful! Randall agreed to take on the project, letting me know that he couldn't promise perfection. He gently took the piano apart, removing the action to take with him to his shop. He reshaped all the hammers, replaced all the bridal straps, repaired a few missing key laminates and did a full tuning on the piano. He did this all for just under $300. He'll also be replacing the dampening felt when he can get it in stock. Randall and his assistant put the piano back together, he then sat down and played.
