Fantastic service and recommend this company highly.WHY??? I bought a Nissan X Trail at a very competitive price from this company. When I first went to look at the car I was acknowledged and then left alone to look around in peace. When I asked for the keys to the above car once again I was given the keys and left alone to look at the car. I asked to take the car for a test drive and allowed to go out on my own, ( I did have my own car which I left the keys for so they could have a look at and come up with a part x price). Being left alone to take the car for a test drive gave me confidence in the company as it showed me they were not trying to pull the wool over my eyes or hide anything with regards the car. This gave me the opportunity to give the car a good look over and find any potential problems. When out driving I did notice a couple of things that needed looking at and advised Will of this when I got back. Will told me that these problems would be fixed before I took ownership of the car. I then asked for a part X price on my car and was given a fair price so I proceeded ahead with the sale. While the problems were being fixed Will kept me informed and when I went to pick the car up the problems had been sorted. From beginning to end I received excellent service from this company. I also drove away knowing I had a 28 day guarantee against any problems that occurred on the car. The day after I noticed a different problem with the car and took it back, WITHOUT HESITATION they booked the car in to get the problem sorted. In reply to the complaints against S Armstrong Car Sales, I can only say we try to get things right but sometimes dont. when things or complaints are brought to our attention we act as quickly as we can. We out source all our repair work and are beholding to workshops out of our control. We have to deal with some fantastic customers who understand where we are coming from and some who are just trying to rip us, or any other establishment they can off, by reciting the SOGA which they have painstakingly downloaded from the internet. We work closley with TRADING STANDARDS LEGAL DEPARTMENT, not CITIZENS ADVICE ! who guide us with any issues we have. Again we dont always get it right, but when we dont we try to resolve it asap. Customers come to us and want loads of cash knocked off the vehicle, then want a brand new vehicle and a massive aftersales service. You cannot do this. we operate on a small profit and a high turnover. we are a business not a charity. We will try and accomadate any deal, but it has to work both ways.
