What's particularly interesting about Jungfernstieg is that it's almost entirely underwater but you'd never know that from the platforms, which are on THREE levels. Servicing the S1, S2 and S3 lines (between Stadthausbrücke and Hauptbahnhof) and the U1, U2 and U3 lines (between varying stations), the station is completely handicap accessible which was useful for us as we were pulling entirely too much luggage. Reasonable signage for connections and the way to the exit, though working out which exit we actually wanted was a bit more challenging. There are over 20 different entrances and exits! Nothing really special about this station in Eppendorf. It…read moreis an exchange point between U1 and U3, from here you can reach the city center, the main train station and you can easily change to a S-Bahn station for reaching the airport. It is really near a small nice park (Kellinghusen park) and sometimes you can find musicians playing nearby.
