Used the U-Bahn Underground Railway to reach the Olymiazentrum Station via the U3 line. It was just a couple of euros more for the day pass. Easy to explore the BMW Welt (which is free) , the BMW Museum (which requires a ticket) and the Olympic Stadium from this station. Make sure to visit the Memorial to the 1972 Munich Massacre of the Israeli Olympic Team. So tragic.

Wifi geht nicht in Zimmer. Können uns nicht mal ein loggen. Dazu noch funktioniert unsere eigenen 3G nichtmal weil die wände wahrscheinlich zu dick sind... teilweise nur E! Was soll das Motel One!? 89€ für nacht in 8qm raum ohne Kühlschrank und wifi.. toll. Es ist 2019!

This is actually a 3.5 star for us. Typical chain motel, but very nice all in all for a very modern…read morestyle hotel room (like no place sit other than the bed. We requested parking here and it is pretty typical tight, underground parking for downtown Munich. We had issues getting out of the parking Garage the next morning because somehow the staff never gave us a parking card to operate the gate and the gate was open when we parked, despite paying a premium parking charge. I mean you don't know what you need for these types of things if the staff doesn't explain or provide you the tools (parking card). The rooms are quite small and felt to us like a cruise ship style cabin which is ok for us since we typically lodge to sleep and shower not have an "experience". I don't think we ever figured out the air conditioning controls or if they even had air, we ended up opening our room window on the 7th floor for air. The location is quite perfect if you are looking to walk and explore the hot spots of Munich like the Marketplatz, Viktualienmarkt and historic downtown (Altstadt) sites.

Two S-Bahn tracks here and two U-Bahn tracks, so it's a busy transfer point and of course the Marienplatz at the surface is a busy destination. Easy navigation with escalators, stairs and elevator between the different platform levels, the ticketing concourse and the surface. And of course, lots of entrances/exits to street level which are labeled and there's signage to help you know which is the right exit closest to the strasse you're needing. Several quick grab-and-go restaurants on the ticketing concourse. The station is served by the S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S7 and S8 S-Bahn lines plus the U3 and U6 underground lines.
