And while I still often shop here-- I've seriously been mulling around if I continue due to the following reasons... 1. Price. My family is GROWING. I don't mean in number but in size. The amount of food we go through as a household is super noticeable due to the prices. Pricing at Hy-Vee isn't super competitive when you compare them to the value of Costco, Fareway, WalMart, Trader Joes, Aldi... etc. For a long, long while milk at this location was $2-3 more expensive then any of those other locations. 2. Convenience of Aisle Online Delivery times aren't super competitive as compared to Costco or WalMart delivery-- which I use frequently. I have to put in an order hours and hours in advance to secure a delivery at HyVee whereas the others have a much shorter turn around. 3. Aisle Online Value $99 a year. The perks have changed, coupons have changed.... overall the value has gone downhill I feel. (To compare WalMart Plus offers: fuel discounts, access to streaming platforms, early access to deals, auto care, cash back and more.) 4. App I order on the app and compared to other apps I use for groceries this one glitches the most and isn't super intuitive in finding all the perks you are allowed as an Aisle Online member. It used to be super easy to see deals I was exclusively given but now it feels like they're hidden intentionally? Overall-- this HyVee is in a great location. The folks that work here are super friendly and helpful. Their selection is ok. But ultimately over the years their prices have gone way up (I get it, tis the times but HyVee more so than other businesses and this location more so than others in the IC area), and Aisle Online membership is something they are really pushing nowadays-- I really am not sure if its worth it.

In the summer they have a nice greenhouse and are even a UPS drop off location! The staff is very polite and helpful, especially the owner Sam. He will go above and beyond to help any customer. I also love that they carry a lot of locally made products from baked goods to dairy products to brews! It's nice to see small local businesses supporting each other, it really instills a sense of community!

I ate here last week and the food was amazing as always. It's the third time that I've been here in the last year and this place has completely transformed for the better. Most of what is now the restaurant used to be part of the grocery store. Now they have booths and it has decent restaurant style seating. The location is great - strip mall on centerpoint road. The restaurant/grocery store isn't the cleanest but it's decent. Most of the items on the menu are really cheap. I have to agree with everyone else when they say that this place is authentic. So far, I have tried their tortas, burritos and enchiladas and I've loved it every single time. In order to keep costs low, I've seen that they're foregone the chips and salsa which used to be part of the meal in the early days. If it was up to the food alone, I'd give this place 5 stars. For instance, last week I had their cheese smothered enchiladas with beef which was still really crispy when I cut into them. The service was fair and although it took them 15 minutes to serve us initially, the food was out in 15 minutes after we put in the order. All that being said, there is something else that I need to mention on here too. At lunch last week my friend had the chilaquiles and he came down with a bad case of food poisoning - listeria. It is possible that the food here and nothing to do with it, but I'd feel very responsible if I didn't even mention it on here. Now, I was completely fine after eating the beef enchiladas, and both times before then. It is possible that he contracted it from something else that he ate/drank that week, but this was one of the foods he ate outside of his normal diet. When I asked him if he enjoyed the food and if he'd come back, it was a yes!

Ordered a Med mangonada - it had a perfect amount of fresh mangos combined with a frozen yogurt mago flavor. Chamoy and Tajín. Very delish and perfect if you enjoy mango with a lil bit of salty chili (Tajín). Ordered a steak burrito.. generous size. Inside steak, beans, rice, tomatoes, and lettuce. The meat was seasoned well. Will definitely be back.
