Popular salon, there was a steady trickle of people walking in for services. I was headed to Whole Foods and decided on a whim to get my toes done. I had to wait about 20 minutes as they were pretty busy. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job and this salon is probably the most affordable in the area. $35 for spa pedicure where at other places it's around $45 or $55. A no frills salon but they are friendly and do a great job. I'd come back for sure. read more

at the end of finishing my nails up the lady doing my nails started rushing and I had specifically asked for chrome and she did it wrong had to redo it and it ended up looking sloppy as mind u these were my bday nails! it's now been a month since then and my nails look so bad gave me horrible ring of fire and my pinky nail got ripped in half. On top of that one of the nails had bruised my nail some how. 100% do not recomend! She also charged me 120 which was outrageous. read more

New management- charges extra for using a debit/credit- my nails look like a kid done them. Anna so called owner didn't want to assist me - she had the new girl Me or MY to do my nails. After the acrylic was on - she had an appointment coming in / she stopped and had the lady who done my pedicure to polish my nails and do the designs- the designers/stones were horrible - i made her stop and left and paid for this bs and had to get back to work. I came today - Friday 2:50pm ct - Anna states / idk how to refund anyone and shop didn't ask for me. I stated when I call / You don't answer the phone and I walked in and y'all suggested to me to your new hires. Bring back the old owners. I called just shy of an hour before closing (I love ten minutes away) to see if they could fit me in for a pedicure yet. I know this was so rude to even ask but unexpected things came up--I totally knew the worst is that they'd simply tell me no. The person on the phone was so kind and said to come in. I did wait with another patron for a few minutes while they finished up the final customers and then two workers arrived and started on us. I paid $30 for a pedicure and, while it doesn't include callus treatment, it's still one of the cheapest around. The owner and another worker came by the man working on mine and appeared to help him and offer me choices for how to move forward (adding another coat, etc.). While my pedicure dried, the owner chatted with me the whole time--she was so kind and explained she's pretty new and she has some plans to update the interior. Personally, I think the interior is just fine but I can see why she'd want to update a tad.. My pedicure was great and the man next to me raves about his pedicure as well. I'll return :) read more

Update: I got my nails "fixed". The curve of the nail isn't there. The three that got "fixed" are flat and lumpy. My sister who is still out of town has been sending me updates. Her nails have chipped, bubbled and two have popped off. The owner, the husband, Twan Le told me that she probably just ripped them off to try and get a refund. Said he cannot refund me for her pedicure either. Offered me the tip back and the design for her nails refunded. $20. Out of $105 and him and the other three began to laugh and yell at me saying too bad that's their policy. I asked to see the policy and he said they don't have one. Do not go here. They don't have a price list for nails. This business is scamming individuals. read more

I came in yesterday for the first time and had a wonderful experience with Mia! It was the first time I have ever gotten a dip manicure. My nails look gorgeous and feel super strong! Mia was so polite the entire time. There is a good selection of powders and the color comes out amazing. Price is great, too! I will be back soon. read more

Well, they've won me back. I'm not a consistent manicure recipient, and I only ever do shellac if I'm getting my hands done. I'm hard on my hands and this (the second time around) proved much better. The owner contacted me and, based on my negative experience here, wanted to have me back to try to prove themselves. That they did. I've had the current shellac on for over a month now and it's only just beginning to wear at the tips. The person who did the manicure went much slower and was more thorough in the application of the paints. So, voila! It's better. They have a crazy cheap pedicure special for the students and coming cold weather ($15!) so I'm going again today to have them remove the shellac, because I hate doing it myself, and do my toes. It's a decent neighborhood place, not pretentious or fancy, hard working and clean. Nice job guys. read more

PLEASE AVOID THIS SALON IF YOU WANT QUALITY SERVICE!!!!! I visited this salon for dip powder and the results were awful. I should have left after I noticed that there was only about 20 or so colors to choose from but I find a color and decided to make it work. The nail service started off fine until the lady applied what appeared to be a clear coat of polish to my nails. I have been getting dip for over a year at Anthony Vince but thought since they were applying a different brand maybe that was why the process was different. After sitting under the dryer for 10 mins, the top coat was still wet. I told the lady who was doing my nails that I needed to leave, so she had a gentleman takeover. He proceeded to wipe off the top coat with a piece of paper towel which left lint on my nails. He then applied a shellac top coat to my nails. As he was working on my nails I asked him if this was a quality job and he said it was the color that I selected which was the issue. THIS IS A COLOR WHICH THEY OFFERED. IF THIS IS A BAD COLOR WHY OFFER IT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. My nails are misshapen. There is dip on my cuticles. I can actually bend my nails!!!!! After expressing my dissatisfaction I was charged full price. This by far is the worst looking nail job I have ever received. read more

I went here because I had a groupon. I had a hard time finding the place as there wasn't any signage out front aside from "NAILS". The inside was dirty. My manicure consisted of soaking my hand in cold water (in a plastic bowl) followed by an express 10 minute file, buff and polish. My groupon was good for one Shellac. I paid $20 but the original cost is $40-no way! read more

I've been coming here for a couple years since I realized I'm a pedicure person in the summer. I've had various people service me. It's not the most luxurious place but the prices are good and I've always had great mani/pedis. Don't usually make an appt and am usually fit in without an unreasonable wait. I will never come back to this nail salon ever again. First of all customer service was terrible. At least say "hi" to your customers. I think her name is Maria. She acted like she's being forced to do her job. Second polish is old and too thick. Third you should never put acetone in the polish to try to thin it out. The best quality nails for the best price! Owner is super nice too. Don't be put off by the less than luxurious appearance because you will get nail color that lasts long. This is the only place I get my acrylics done because they always last at a minimum 3 weeks! Would highly recommend read more

I had been a customer of this nail salon for 2 years. After trying different manicurist/pedicurist at this nail salon, I was very impressed by Angel's service and I continued to get manicure/pedicure from her consistently. Unfortunately, over my past 2 visits the owner & his wife Angel have been very rude and unprofessional. On my prior visit, I had booked my manicure/pedicure with Angel. I checked in on time, however, I was told that Angel was sick with belly ache and thus another therapist will look after me. I reluctantly agreed, but then I realized that Angel wasn't sick. She was providing nail extension service to another customer at the same time. They could have easily informed me about this change and I could have rescheduled my appointment with her, however, they clearly value quantity of business over quality. They also don't mind lying to their customers. I booked another visit with Angel today ignoring my previous experience and hoping to give them another chance. I thought of the prior visit as an aberration and was hoping that they would win me back. Unfortunately, the experience turned from bad to worse. Angel started my pedicure and told me that she was doing this treatment as a "favor" and that "she could make more money by dedicating the same amount of time to another customer needing nail extension". I was clearly upset at her statement. I am not sure why she accepted my request for an appointment with her but was reluctant to offer treatment 2 hours later. I expressed my displeasure with her behavior. Her husband (the owner) and Angel both started to argue with me. I asked them to terminate the service, paid for the treatment and left. I have no plans on going back to this nail salon. Their behavior with me over the last two visits has involved lying, being dishonest, unprofessional and rude. I would have expected them to be honest and let me know that they are unable to guarantee a specific therapist or accommodate my request. I can then make an informed decision. However, they have lied to me on two different occasions. The owner and Angel, inadvertently, let it slip that they were gossiping about me in their native language when I arrived. They mentioned this to me during my argument with them. They should understand that it is impolite to speak another language in front of someone specifically because you don't want that person to understand what you're saying. I wish they will make amends and treat their customers right and with respect in future. read more
