I was giving a check for $106.51 for my recyclables. I deposited the check it in my credit union checking account and it bounced! SA recycling had no money to cover payment!! Than they blamed me saying something went wrong with the deposit! Take responsibility SA Do Not give check payments if you dont have money to cover!!! Only gave 1 star because I had to!! read more

Anyone goesnto SA recycling ******* Get the price before weight it , and hold you bins before confirmed price printed . Dont let them dump your bin in to their bins until ticket printed .******* They do hustle, yes they do . Supervisor quoted price and when I weighted with other guy, he tried gave me 1/3 of the price from what manager gave to me . And start giving me all kind of reason... Start dumping my bins in to their.. I grabbed my bin and called supervisor... But before he comes other coworker toll him about the story... he acted same thing ... 'thay is not what yiu showed ' aluminum are not all same looking .. stop giving me stupid excuse or treated as stupid. I put all my stuffs back to the car and told him go get my other bin.. which already dumped in to their bins... he just grabbed some of it from the top.. I did not want to argue any more. I left. Quick service. Plenty of parking available. I really like the large tall bins for your recycling. I fit 6 X-Large trash bags of plastic bottles in 1 wire bin. Fair cost by weight. I bring the recycling from my job, which is a lot. Will return again with scrap metal. read more

Dropped of scrap steel maybe 50lbs and I weighed more coming out than dropping off my steel so the vehicle scales here are not very accurate. Also Web should say they close at 11am on Saturday not 12 as made the drive just to be turned away when doing bottles and cans. Kinda miffed.... I told them they could just keep my steel for free.... But again a bit upset... As it took like 30 min to get here just to be turned away . I arrived at 11:02am :( I'll be looking for another place to go in the future. read more

there prices for number 1 copper is lousy. Way below the average.! the staff that assists with weighing are nice friendly and helpful. The ladies that work inside the scale house and handle the money transactions are as rude and unfriendly as they come. The reason I won't be returning or doing buisness there again. I wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. I agree with the other comment. Yes, the cashiers are definitely rude. I don't understand the weighing thing and they don't explain it to you. I received a grand total of 49 cents for a mini fridge complete with yelling cashiers! Smh. On the up side, the guys had a very good attitude. Hopefully, the women take notes from them. Stay away from this place they dont even weight your metal on an individual scale, they weight your car then you throw away your metal and then they weight your car again, for all the metal i had in my van they gave me 6$ stay away!!!! read more

Decided to try this place out. Its a decent place for what it is. Price per unit is as follows to help others. BRASS 1.2000 Yellow Brass 70% 0.5000 COPPER 1.8500 pounds Its sort of a rip off for cans and glass here. I personally would not waste anymore time coming here for those prices due to the fact that its not too worth it. But for metals its ok... also watch out when parking in a spot lots of glass is on floor at times. read more

I got there on Saturday at 12:34 and their posted hours are until 1:00 on Saturday. The gate was slightly open (enough for a vehicle to drive in) but a sign said closed. Other vehicles showed up as well. I drove in (along with others) and a guy said they were closed. I said "I thought you were open until 1:00" and he just said "Usually we are" with no explanation and just told everyone to leave. A completely wasted trip with a car full of metal. read more
