Visited this spot midweek after 9pm and was pleasantly surprised. Dim lighting which made for the perfect ambiance.... Think date night or girls night out for a nice chat with comfortable chairs and lovely drinks. They've got hookah as well, if that's your thing. Small task lights sit at eat table to appropriately provide lighting to see both the menu and your food at each table. Music was the perfect volume to carry on a conversation without feeling like the entire restaurant could hear you. They are open till midnight during the week, so if you're a member of the night owl club, this spot will not disappoint. The food was hot, well flavored and beautifully plated. The wait staff was polite, attentive and offered great recommendations. This place was super cute! A friend of mine recommended it who lives in Dallas. The aesthetics were top notch, like this restaurant was gorgeous!! Also, every single server and bartender was beautiful. They were super empty when we first got there and there were like 15 servers kind of lingering around and like 5 bartenders so I'm assuming they were fully staffed in preparation for a crowd we luckily beat. Saaya has been the talk of the town ever since their opening. I was able to book a reservation to see what the ambiance, food and service was about. Upon arrival, the staff was nice and accommodating. The bartenders were awesome! I sat at the bar for a few until the rest of my party arrived. Once we were seated outside, we ordered drinks and they came pretty quickly. I got the Mercerie which was awesome, I do feel like it was overpriced. All the cocktails were between $18-20 each and it was nothing to really call home about. When my second drink came out, another Mercerie, it was hella spicy. None of the other ones I had were spicy. So I figured they probably didn't clean out their bartending tools. The waitress took it back to get it fixed but then came back and told us that they wouldn't make the drink bc we only had 5 more minutes for our reservation and then we had to go. Since it was an error on their part, I feel I should've been able to order it. I was excited to get the hookah, but sadly it was trash. It was not a good smoke nor flavor. It was a huge disappointment for $40. I didn't get a chance to try any food but everyone around me that ate, said all the food was mid and not good. If you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing venue to take nice pics, then this is your place. But that's the best thing about this place in my eyes. Saaya was a nice experience. I visited for the first time on February 5th. The ambiance was nice. It was very clean, nice music, and the lighting was very atmospheric. The service was speedy and the employees were very friendly. I didn't try any of the food. They also have free, 30 minute karaoke in private pods. Ambiance - bar-like, loud music but modern nice looking restaurant Service - Our server Juliette was nice and pleasant and provided adequate service other than the deficiencies described below. Food - The Tzatziki tasted fresh and came with soft seasoned pita bread. The chicken shawarma wrap was the WORST chicken shawarma I've had other than Fadis!! It was extremely dry brown chicken in a wrap- nothing else came inside the wrap. On the side was garlic sauce, pickles, and fries. I did not realize it came with a plate of fries, so when it arrived, I asked to sub rice. I specifically asked if there would be an upcharge to get rice. Our server Juliette said she'd take care of it, and there would not be an upcharge. I would never pay $5 for rice when I could have sent back this terrible dish and gotten the chicken kabob that came with rice. I moved the wrap, sauce, and pickles onto my appetizer plate, and the fries sat on the entree plate throughout our meal. I did not eat them. Juliette checked on us a couple times, but never asked us how our food was. In hindsight, I should have returned the wrap. The chicken was definitely not cooked chicken shawarma style and/or the pita was over toasted. I always take my leftovers, and I did not this time. How you pay at this restaurant is via a handheld electronic device that the server stands over you holding during the transaction and watches you complete the transaction. It always feels high pressure vs. the old fashioned way of leaving my paper processed credit card transaction and letting me add the tip and sign it without the server standing over you waiting. Juliette showed me a screen on the device of my order. That screen did not show a $5 upcharge. I emailed myself a copy of the receipt. ***If you are not in the practice of doing this, ALWAYS do this!! This is not the first time I unknowingly was charged more than I agreed to when paying via one of those handheld electronic devices and it was hidden from me. *** My biggest complaint and reason for the low rating is being lied to, overcharged, and that hidden from me. That is dishonest, bad business. A couple weeks after I left my review, the restaurant refunded the $5 upcharge. I plan to eat here again someday, order a different entree, and email myself my receipt. :) read more

Decided to check this place out as it just opened a month or so again and boy was i not dissapounted. They offer a vast amount of seating both inside and out. Outside they have fans readily utilized to keep you cool and they have a lot of various hookah offerings. The ambiance is perfect for a date or group meeting. The drinks are very good and they offer 1/2 price drinks and bottles and hookahs on Mondays. They have TVs available outside and inside so if you're trying to watch a game fear not you can definitely do that here. The lamb sliders were ok but everything else i had was great from the hookah to the drinks and they will freely provide more coals for hookah for the entire time you're there.
