Melissa gave me subtle highlights and balayage to make everything a bit more even. There soon came a point however where I could no longer put off a long-delayed cut and decided to brave Escape. Popping in on a Tuesday afternoon, the shop was pretty quiet - only two hairdressers in the shop. I asked if they could fit me in, they said yes and then before I knew it I was sitting down with my alternate barbie hairdresser discussing my options. It seems that I too am now on Team Escape. The hairdressers here are really friendly and talk with you for a while about what you want before letting you indulge in a relaxing wash and condition. Throughout the cut the hairdressers were chatty and talkative, not just amongst themselves but including me in their conversation and offering tea and coffee and a choice of magazines. They double checked any drastic moves and in the end I walked out with exactly what I wanted - or better. And you get all of this for a decent price - $75 for a wash, style cut and blow dry, which is pretty darn cheap for a good haircut in Sydney. Plus they offer free fringe trims. Go Team Escape.

I have ethnic hair and 24 inch extensions, and she washed my hair gently enough so my extensions didn't tangle. I had the option to upgrade to the high end Keratase shampoo for only $5. No other salon has given me that option. I like that they use only top quality products like GHD hair straighteners. Anne used the GHD to make beautiful waves in my hair... When I get hair by 'H' hairdresser, she was trying to communicate with me even she felt annoyed because I couldn't decide for my hair style in soon. It was alright but since I spoke to them in Korean she kept saying 'oh your hair is quite stuck or sticky, haven't you wash your hair probably? ' and 'Haven't you dry your hair probably?' I wasn't unsure this is normal the hair dresser talk to their customer like that or is it because I spoke Korean to them. I regret said yes for that... also at the end of my hairs wasn't been cut nicely it looks really messy. My hair tail looks worst... Like a cheap broom...Really sad...this is my worst part for being as wedding guest... (My mum.. she was mad about this..) The price was higher than what they told me when I book through the phone. I kept remind them my hair length which longer than my shoulder, they said it'd be around $60 or something then today I paid $77. I'm afraid the hair cut wasn't good so it was too pricy for me. Personally, I really disappointed their quality been lowered than before. After today I rather go to another place.
