I am always skeptical about a vacation massage, because you never know what you will get. My boyfriend and I each got a massage from Tamera and loved the massage and the experience. I called several weeks in advance and left a message and the call was returned promptly and we were able to get the appointment time we wanted. Tamera was prompt and friendly. Her massage was both relaxing and therapeutic. The cost was appropriate, no inflated spa rates, yet we both had a spa experience. I had my first massage here a couple of years ago. I had nothing to compare it to at the time, but now I can definitely say that I had my best massage from this place! This place was recommended by Wildwood 1884 Bed & Breakfast Inn (which is where my friend and I stayed). The place didn't look like much when we arrived, it was just a house on the street. However, inside it was just like any other spa. My friend and I both had a Ultimate Massage (for 1.5 hrs). My masseuse was Joshua Jackson (I remember because he has the same name as the actor who plays Pacey from Dawson's Creek!). He was great with his hands and he knew how to get me to relax by breathing and concentrating on certain parts of my body that was tense. I left the spa very relaxed and happy. =) read more

We've been coming here for a while when we visit Lake Hamilton. We get a couples massage. Folks, this place gives you all the bells and whistles in the basic massage. The aromatherapy, hot towels, hot stones, foot wrap- all included v. most places that nickel and dime you to death with add ons. The people are super nice - Tamara, Sloan, Steve. Nice atmosphere in a home that has been converted to a spa- candles, dim lighting, heated massage tables, soft blankets, open head rest for when you lie on your stomach, leg pillow, relaxing music. I have knots. A lot of them. And the reason I know is because every time I get a massage, I always get comments about how gnarly they are. I really wanted to like this place- based on the reviews I had high expectations and in some ways they were met, and also not met. This was my first trip to Arkansas and I was looking for a much needed spa and pampering experience, which is why I booked an appointment here. After a ten hour drive from TX, I was looking forward to it. I agree with other reviews- the house is quaint and charming inside and feels very warm. The two ladies who worked with us were professional and really nice. They took the time to go over different scents and oils to truly tailor our experience and make sure we were happy with our selection. They did not introduce themselves however, which is one suggestion I would make. They also ran out of intake forms, which I feel like could have been easily photocopied or printed off a computer. My friend and I had to fill out the same form- not a big deal but it just seems a little unprofessional and unprepared. I also indicated that problem areas were neck, back and shoulders, but I feel like not enough attention was paid to those areas. If I can offer any suggestion, it would be to check in with your clients. The ladies were really nice but I think asking clients how the pressure is, what kind of pressure they prefer, or asking if there are certain areas that need to be more addressed would be beneficial. At one point I asked for more pressure because I felt like I was just getting a rub down and I felt like my knots were not adequately worked on. For the price I paid I was fairly disappointed- I've paid less for a more satisfying experience. I enjoyed the hot stones and they were a great addition to the massage. I had to schedule another massage back at home however, since I feel like I didn't get an adequate massage the first time. So to sum it up, I came with knots. Lots of them. Great place to have a massage. Our first couples trip was for one hour and we felt so invigorating after all was said and done. Had a long eventful day and I credit that to the relaxation the staff had given us during out massages. The second trip we did an hour and a half massage, but felt so tired after wards. Such thing as too much enjoyment? The place is clean, inspiring, and cozy. The staff is beyond friendly! And the massages...well...had a lot in my life and this place is at the top of my list. We are planning to come back here at least 2 or 3 more times this year. My husband and I had a couples massage/facial/foot scrub. Overall we both enjoyed our time here. The ladies were friendly, place is pretty and clean. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that my therapist seemed to spend a bit too much time "away" from the table. I wish I could give this review MORE than FIVE STARS! My husband and I LOVED our experience at Sabai! We came to Hot Springs for our anniversary, so a couples massage was mandatory! I first found Sabai on the hotsprings.org website and I liked what I read so I checked their ratings on other websites. Sabai comes highly rated no matter where you look, and they definitely hold true to their ratings! We purchased the Couples two-hour Rejuvenation Massage package. During this massage package they also give a mini facial, foot scrub, hot stones along the spine and a body polish at the end. We got to choose the essential oil that went into our massage and Tamarha, the owner, even double checked the oil I picked to make sure it didn't contain geraniol due to the fact that I am allergic. The atmosphere of the whole experience was warm and inviting. The music was perfect, the massage tables were slightly heated and the flow of the massage couldn't have been better! The mini facial made my skin feel soft and glowing, as did the body polish. The facial drew out the impurities in my skin, as I would expect it to do, so I left looking a little red-faced and blotchy, but my skin was perfectly even and glowing the next day! Both therapists were very kind, friendly and attentive. We could tell they were experienced and that they both cared about the services they provided. They both offered the exact pressure that we asked for before the massage and checked in with us to make sure it was right during the massage. Also, I want to add that I had skinned and bruised knees from falling down the day before, and Tamarha avoided my injuries while never missing a beat during her massage flow! The whole experience was perfect, to say the least, and was ended with a complimentary, warm shower at the end. My friend and I went for a Swedish message. When you first drive up It doesn't look like much. But, when you go inside it is such a major difference. The mood is very tranquil and the staff is very pleasant. Our massages were so relaxing. They used aroma therapy, hot towels on our feet (which were very soothing by the way) and hot stones on our back. The pressure my masseuse used was perfect. Tamarha gave me a massage and if any others who work there are anything like her you will not be disappointed. The studio is beautiful and soothing. Her techniques were varied and I not only felt relaxed but rejuvinated after the session, not drained, truely I felt loved and healed.
