    1. Parking- street parking 2. Staff - Friendly. 3. Golden Cup - their version of lettuce wraps. Drunken Noodles - with pad Thai noodles, I'm used to wide rice noodles though so this was a surprise. Taste good! Papaya Salad - refreshing. 4. Missing: Thai Iced Tea and Mango Stucjy Rice - it's not on the menu.

Chicken in red curry - start at mid level spicy. Can adjust up but not down.

Service was awesome and clear in explaining different level of spiciness. Did not oversell - was recommended to order slightly less portion in case we over order. Tasted great. We has chicken skewer, green curry chicken and prawn pad thai. Ordered all mild/no spice since we had our kids, but the side chilli were more than enough. Spacious inside with a casual feel but fancy service level.

I can't say they are wow. We ordered 6 items to share and some were very tasty and some were pretty meh. We ordered: spring rolls (4 pieces), Phad Thai Gai (chicken), Moo Gratiem (ginger pork), Pla la Prig (sweet and sour snapper), Praram Long Song (beef), and rice. -The springrolls were a pretty good size. -The phad thai was meh. I found it a bit too salty. It was very clumpy and the noodle basically stuck together too much. Also they forgot one of the ingredients in the Phad Thai which was peanuts. (please see photos) -The Pla la Prig was the most disappointing. The fish was not crispy but more like it was soaked in the sweet and sour sauce. Also you can taste/ tell that they used frozen fish. -Praram Long Song was probably my favorite dish out of everything. It was the most flavorful dish out of them all. I do like the peanut sauce. The only draw back is that when they stir fried the vegetables, the veggies produced a lot of liquid which diluted the flavor. This tells me that their wok was not on super high heat resulting in the veggies to release a large amount of water. If the the water was a sauce than they did not use enough cornstarch to thicken the sauce which is not the case. -The Moo Gratiem (ginger pork) was ok or I should say decent. The sauce was the right thickness. The pork was spiced with good amount of pepper. I can't be too harsh on the rating because this restaurant is located in Sidney (small town). If this restaurant was in Vancouver, it would not be this popular. If this restaurant was in Vancouver BC, it would probably be a 1 to 2 star restaurant. I also they don't have Thai Milk tea at this restaurant which is the first Thai place that I have been to that doesn't have this. Their drink list was extensive but they don't offer any Thai drinks. We also noticed the restaurant was very short staffed. There were 4 servers managing the tables but they would constantly bring our food to the wrong table. Well this happened 3 times. Also after they took our order, they didn't take our menu books away. Which I thought was strange or they were too lazy or didn't care. All 4 menus were left on our table even when our food started coming. Also when we sat down, they only bought out 3 waters. It was only when she bought out the plates that I reminded her she didn't give me a water. Plus again, when she bought out the plates she only bought out 3. Seems like a very disorganized restaurant. Or one of us was invisible. But we are all full grown adults and we were very visible in my mind. I think service and food quality will need improvement. Especially service. Also good thing the missing ingredient in the dish wasn't a major item or else I would have said something.

    Great Phad Thai!

Service was good, fast. Phad Thai was awesome! It's licensed, with great a solid beer selection. I'll be back.

Went here for a business lunch, and the place was empty which worked for us. What annoyed me though, is how we were basically hustled out of there when we done eating, from an empty restaurant. The food came out fast, but the cashew chicken was fairly bland. No heat at all in the dish. If the client picked here again I would go, otherwise it's a pass for me.

Just had this amazing place. And why doesn't it have more reviews?! It's seem really popular based on how busy it was when I went. But then again, the place rather small. Couldn't do a Yelp review there since they provided no wifi. Parking: This place is on the edge of Sydney downtown. But it wasn't crowded so parking is easy. And it is all street parking. No payment required, only timed. First of all, place itself. Clean and organized but little clustered together. It's a place that cannot accommodate big parties. So 4 would be the max! Two is most common. The severs were all females who all dressed in plain black and blue jean. Guess that was sort of unique to notice. And their service were superb! Came by multiple times to make sure if I needed anything else. Last: The food. I got my usual pad Thai. And out of the many Thai restaurants I've been and the pad Thai I've gotten, this place is on the higher part of my list. The noodle was well cooked. The sauce was perfectly amazing. And meat and everything was great! Honestly I could've ordered another. Haha.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE 4.5 stars: great food and good service…read morein a decent environment garners one of the top votes for Thai food when in the area! === 2. FOOD Chicken Satay ($16) 4 skewers at this price makes this dish a little speedy, but it's good: meaty pieces on skewers with authentic peanut sauce - yum! Pad Thai Prawn ($22) You get five jumbo shrimp on top of the pad Thai noodles. The flavour is a little different (and a touch more liquid-y?) than most other places - but it's tasty nonetheless! Curry Fried Rice ($21) Imagine a good-tasting fried rice with your choice of protein (we chose chicken) and curry powder to flavour: it's simple yet really tasty! Sweet Stickey Rice with Mango ($12) It's spendy for what you get - but it does included at least half a fresh-cut mango with sticky rice and coconut milk - an indulgent treat! === 3. SERVICE It was simple and good - nothing spectacular but also nothing to worry about either from the two ladies that served us throughout the meal. === 4. ENVIRONMENT The decor seems 10-15 years old but it's clean and bright enough - at least with daylight (it might be a little dim when dark out). A large TV on one wall shows a video of a Western traveller visiting Thailand to sample foods. There is a lunch buffet ($21 for adults or $14 for kids) - offering 8-10 dishes in the centre of the restaurant. Groups large and small would fit easily, as would wheelchairs and baby strollers. Parking is reasonably plentiful on the street out front.

Nice Thai food at good prices. Excellent lunch buffet. All dishes seem slightly sweet.read more

We were seated pretty much immediately. I had read that a lot of items could be veganized but I typically avoid ordering items where a bunch of ingredients have to be removed to make it vegan. So I got #61, which is laad-na noodles, which I don't think I have ever tried before, with soft tofu. There was also an option to get friend tofu. Apparently laad na means stuff your face which makes a lot of sense. My noodles came in a big bowl with gravy, veggies, rice noodles, and tofu. It was quite hot initially so I ate it quite slowly. The gravy made it almost like a soup. I got medium spice which wasn't spicy at all for me. If I come back, I might go up one, but this was very comfortable. I thought my dish was perfection, so yummy, would absolutely get again and makes me excited to try more of their menu if I get the chance. My friend got basil noodles and said hers was satisfying and hit the spot. Service was also amazing. We didn't have to ask for anything, they were on top of it. The kitchen was very efficient too as we seated towards the back so we could see how quietly they operated. We also heard plenty of calls come in for takeout orders so clearly this a popular spot. Vegan or not, come through!

As I said it was a home-run restaurant the owner was taking the order. We ordered drunken noodles and some curry with rice. Both of them were so delicious. It almost felt like we were eating at someone's home. While we were there, an old man entered and he said I want to eat an omelette which was not on the menu. Turns out the chef makes a special omelette for that man or maybe it's on request.
