The location and overall grounds are nice and well kept, but way too much 'bling' (statues,…read moreknick-knacks, etc). Way overdone to the point that it's cluttered. There's an overall mindset amongst seasonals to 'keep up with the Jones' with respect to yard appearance, RV's, trailers, etc. I was a seasonal for three years, and ultimately the last straw was when it was suggested to me that I don't return the next season unless I upgraded my 28 foot travel trailer to something newer, because it didn't fit the look and feel of the place (apparently something older than 7 years wasn't good enough?). Also, management is very good at one thing: watching everyone like a hawk. If you want to always feel like you're every move is being scrutinized, this is the place for you!

I seems like the city of St. Cloud has little or nothing to offer from a cultural perspective, but Helen and Jim certainly worked hard to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was plentiful though more selections would have been nice- I don't do sweets, so the crepes and pancakes option sounds about as appealing to me as chewing rock candy. So instead, they made their second option, an omelet both days with fresh fruit and the BEST homemade plain popovers. I love coffee and tea so much that I often bring my own tea bags. I used them on this trip too because Folgers was their coffee of choice. Also, I am used to a hot tub being a somewhat standard feature. Although the rooms had private baths, both had a smaller shower/tub. One room had a plug in portable fireplace that might have been nice in the winter. The room I chose had a very large and comfortable king-size bed with a walk-out garden balcony that was absolutely stunning! I don't know how they keep the flora and fauna around their property so lovely, but it must be a full time job.

I would absolutely recommend the MSP airport over this no matter how far it is away also there were no food options at the airport and very few seats and once we sat down on the floor with other people apparently we were "in the way of other people getting off the 1 other plane and we didint see anybody walk by from the other plane. Staff was VERY RUDE and I will definitely not be flying from this airport as it was terrible and one of the worst and most plain air ports I've ever been too and it didint even really seem like a airport.
