With every door and window open it took us hours (no breeze) to get house to a temp we could sleep in. Again over and above the issues it met the need and we managed for the rest of the trip.

Our 3bd, 3ba unit was in a great location! It's an end unit with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains and golf course. Staff was friendly and helpful during check-in. Our unit was clean and well stocked. As with most timeshares, they leave enough supplies to get you started for the week. Our unit has a washer and dryer, and full kitchen. This unit is great if you bring friends or family with you as it has an attached studio suite with its own kitchen and full bathroom. The beds are comfortable and linens nice quality. The grounds here are gorgeous and well kept. This resort offers many amenities including golf, outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, recreation room, fitness room, playground, and restaurant. They also have many bighorn sheep walking around. We're looking forward to exploring this beautiful area. Lake Louise and Banff National Park is about 1.5 hours drive. Would definitely recommend.

Every single day for the next week, there were ants in the hallway. It was DISGUSTING. The front desk only seemed mildly concerned. They sent someone to spray, but that obivously didn't help. They finally offered to move us, but we only had a couple nights left by then. I have photos and videos of this apparant ant infestation. Gross. Don't stay here.

There's a wraparound porch and Christmas lights, and the whole thing feels very homey. It's very obviously family run, which was a bonus for us. We're big on local businesses! We met the daughter of the owner who gladly provided us with some extra towels for the Hot Springs. Our bedroom was nice. Instead of going through the lobby we were given access to a back door that was a few steps from our door. Everything is keyed, no fancy swipe cards here! There was parking right behind our room, perfect for hauling in luggage. There's lots of light in the room, and the option of simple blinds or blackout curtains. We also had access to the porch which isn't useful in October but I bet it's wonderful in the summer. The bed was cozy, and well made-up. Of all places we stayed, they had the best wifi and TV service. Their bathroom looked newly renovated which I appreciated. It's only a few minutes from anything you need in Radium, including the Hot Springs, gas stations, and convenience stores. Breakfast was provided and it was delicious. The only quirk I have about this place is that it's too quiet, which happens in small towns. That's a personal issue and not at al the fault of the owners. I would stay here again and again!

No comparison, and the spread from this 4 star to that 3 star is not adequate to express the qualitative difference in the two facilities. This is a charming building with rooms off a main lounge area which surrounds a stone see through floor to ceiling fireplace. Breakfast is not included, though the hotel offers breakfast and lunch service and coffee at its tea shop. The hostess, fern, is pleasant and chatty. There's local art on the walls, some quite nice, some quite dreadful-but it is 'local' art. The town caters to hot springs tourism, and has been supported by a lumber mill/joist fabricator that employs over 200. That mill shut down in the post-Bush recession and is now in the process of starting up. this will return hundreds of jobs to the mill, and new employment of many many more in the surrounding area. Good for the town, which means there will be improved eateries and entertainments, which are lacking. This is a very nice hotel. We wish it well.

The bathroom door did not close at all; the latch likely needed replacing. Unfortunately the room was incredibly musty smelling. We had the keep the windows open throughout our stay to remove some of the smell and bundled up at night. Location Centrally located and within 5-10 minute walking distance from several small shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend the Big Horn cafe for your morning coffee and breakfast! Around the corner from a great off leash dog park; be warned the hill going down (and back up) is quite steep. Price We found a good deal on this motel via AirBnB. Would not recommend at regular price ($200+/night) or until the room issues are fixed. Summary Overall we our stay in Radium. The motel served its purpose for us for 1 night and we are glad we came to visit! Our next visit we will likely splurge on more comfortable accommodations.

We were greeted at the desk by the manager (from Mumbai as the original owners had sold the business and retired) who quickly and politely gave us our key and run down on the motel. The room was quaint and clean. The queen sized bed was comfortable, the mini-fridge kept our beer cold and the green and tan bathroom (while I wouldn't want it in my own home) was tidy and functional. The only real downside I can think of was that the TV was small and there was no movie channel etc but there was full cable. Then again, who goes on vacation to watch TV? Outside, there's a nice lawn with a gazebo with BBQ, stakes for games of horseshoes (complete with horseshoes) and several wooden lawn chairs that were accommodating for a late night bottle of wine, The room topped out at slightly over $100 per night and was a nice place to rest from a day out and about in the mountains and hot springs.
