Only open on weekends and full of amazing treasures. It was rather spur of the moment so we opted to just look around, and sadly did not purchase anything despite being very tempted. A number of old books and objects-- silverware and oddities. Had hoped to find something striking amongst the booths/vendors but eventually declined the idea. However, it is a lovely antique pop-up and well worth a look if wandering through the area. There are also plenty of shops and eateries in vicinity.

Ooit hebben we er een ruimte in gehuurd en verkochten we er vintage -en designmeubelen op de eerste…read moreverdieping. Omdat de crisis in 2008 onze zaak de das omgedaan heeft blik ik met nostalgie terug op deze mooie winkel vol rariteiten en antieke objecten. De winkel verhuurd aan diverse handelaars en je vind er allerlei curieusa. Wie zoekt die vind er wel iets naar zijn zin. Je kan er een waardevol kunstobject kopen als ook een goedkope vaas en de prijs is steeds bespreekbaar. De winkel is reeds 100 jaar oud en was vroeger een kerk voor protestanten en nadien een kledingzaak en stoffenwinkel. Op de muren kan je nog oude bijbelse spreuken lezen. Het is de meest authentieke antiekzaak van heel de Marollen. Misschien eens door de week heen bezoeken, want dan is er minder volk. Op zondag komen de meeste mensen langs en moet je soms te veel aanschuiven.

This company is making its money by scamming people with deceptive pictures. I ordered online a "Bar Trolley" that looked beautiful on the only picture that was online for more than 1000(!) Euro. I was asking for more pictures but I was told that it wasn't possible. I should have been suspicious back then already. But still I ordered the trolley because of course you don't expect to be deceived. I cannot put into words how the "precious vintage piece" arrived. I will attach some photos so you can see for yourself. The packaging (if you can even call it that) was completely damaged and OPEN. When I unpacked the trolley from the destroyed material, I first discovered that it was COVERED in dust and dirt (please see attached pictures). However I thought: ok then I'll clean it myself. After the first shock another shock followed: The so called trolley was completely crooked and unstable. You couldn't even place a bottle on it. Again please look at the attached pictures. It was winky, rocky and unsteady. I was very sad because I was really looking forward to this piece after paying so much money for it. With a heavy heart I wrote a nice Email explaining the condition of the trolley and that I would like to return it and get my money back. I was told to SEE A PROFESSIONAL WHO COULD REPAIR THE TROLLEY. At this point I couldn't even believe what I was reading??? SEE A PROFESSIONAL? AFTER SPENDING MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND (!) EUROS????? But still I reacted kindly and replied that "no, I would still like to return it" and asked them to please be a bit more understanding and professional (I attached the whole Email conversation so you can see for yourself.) After a lot of arguing and both sides getting angrier, I decided to send it back on my own cost with a transportation company for more than 150 euros. I just wanted my money back and make a regular return which is COMMON LAW in the European union. They did not tell me that it arrived, no message, nothing. Only after having my assistant write something in french they responded saying "yes its here but you broke it"?????? I am writing all of this to clarify how impudent all of this is. They sent me a broken piece of furniture and are blaming ME now. So she called them to tried to find a solution to the problem in french, they SCREAMED at her, told her to never call again and HUNG UP on her while she was still talking. This company is: extremely unprofessional, treats its customers poorly, HORRIBLE communications and not willing to help at ANY cost. They are SCAMMING people to buy their so called vintage pieces by selling lies without any accountability. PLEASE BE CAREFUL !!!!

Dear all, never buy furniture from this shop! We bought 2 nightstands from them in October. They…read morewere supposed to be delivered mid-December. They never arrived and we are now approaching the end of March. The owner never apologised and gave us justifications which involved false scenarios: they are on their way, coming from the UK. The truck broke down on the way, but they will be here next weekend. When I read all the negative reviews they have on here I felt sick - people waiting for years for their furniture and never getting it. I made a complaint with the Ombudsman for retail, but if you know any other ways of trying to solve this, please don't hesitate to suggest. Needless to say, the nightstands we bought were not cheap - not that if they were, this behaviour would be justified.
