Our families convoyed and decided to enjoy our frozen treat under the shady tree in the strip mall parking lot. CLICK! BEEP BEEP! Trunk door auto locks with keys still inside!!! We call our insurance company to send out a tow technician to unlock our van. Fast forward 2 1/2 hours...yes took them that long to release authorization and ok for RANDY's Towing to arrive. 20 minutes later the alarm goes off and cheers from the Ohana congratulate TYLER (Randy's tow technician/lock guru) on completing the job. As we await the bill Tyler proceeds to explain the company's motto and how the insurance company took that long to release authorization. Moreover Tyler states that they don't treat their customers like that so service was FREE!!! A BIG shout out to Tyler who was able to unlock my car for me! I accidentally locked my keys in my…read moretrunk yesterday and initially called Roadside Assistance through my insurance. I waited for over 2 hours to get a response and get someone dispatched to help me out in the 100 degree weather. For some reason there was a hurdle for my insurance company to make a payment which prevented Tyler to make it out to me. After almost 2.5 hours of being locked out of my car, I finally reached out to him directly and he was able to come out and help me within 5 minutes. And out of the kindness of his heart, he waived the fee. My family and friends who waited with me, were able to make the 4.5 hour drive back to Seattle. A HUGE thank you to you Tyler!

Kyle and his team go above and beyond!! Our car broke down in August on a Saturday night (family…read moreroad trip) and was towed to North Star Automotive. They are closed on Sundays and Kyle was out of town but still took the time on his day off to let me know he'd look at the car on Monday. It turned out that the transmission would probably need to be rebuilt (not something they do locally). Sarah (front desk) let me know all the options as far as sending the part out. It seemed to make more sense for us to tow the car back home. Then things got a little crazy as forest fires came through the day our car was to be towed. The highway was closed for 3 weeks. Through this all, Kyle and Sarah were always extremely nice on the phone (and who knows what they personally were going through with the fire so close to home) and never even charged me, either for the the diagnosis, or for my car sitting in their lot for 3 and a half weeks!! Wow!!! I still can't believe how generous they are. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

Visiting from Seattle and had just had our car serviced by our neighborhood mechanic. Noticed a…read morestrong burning smell coming from our car and was worried a break down would derail our much overdue weekend away...I called as soon as they opened at 9am and they said to bring our car in. Kyle came out right away, listened to my concerns and my (very innacurrate) guess about what was wrong. We were invited into their office, a quick diagnosis was made and a simple fix was done--our local mechanic hadn't fully tightened the oil filter which led to a small oil leak and the burning smell. Kyle even came in to talk with us and helped entertain our kids (both under age 4) while they finished up the repair and we were back on the road in under 30 minutes. Very thankful for their help!

They asked lots of questions beforehand to ensure they could safely load and tow our food truck.
