My wife and I were traveling through Mammoth Spring for a job interview the next morning, and our…read moreengine blew. I checked on facebook and found the minister, to whom I sent a message. He got back with me VERY quickly, and asked what he could do for me. I told him what had happened, and he came out with a couple members of the church. One of the members was a racecar mechanic who took a look at our engine only to find that it was done running without hefty mechanical work. I asked the man if he knew anyone who would sell me a vehicle cheap so we could make the interview in the morning, and he made a couple calls. Before much time had passed, one of his family friends showed up with a little ford ranger and sold it to us at a good price, just wanting to get us on the way. We made the interview and made it back home without incident. The next time my wife and I had vacation, we got an Air BnB in the area and worshiped with them that Sunday. We caught everyone up on the story of how things panned out, and thanked the members who had helped us. Great group of people!
