BEST DENTAL OFFICE EVER! I have always hated going to the dentist, and as a result have always avoided going. I have pretty bad teeth, and any dentist that I've gone to has always made me feel even worse about their condition, not flossing enough, not brushing enough, stains, etc. Enter, Saddleback Dental Associates. The staff is so helpful and nice, they always make me feel comfortable and taken care of. I normally do not write reviews but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I would like to give a big compliment and thank you to Dr. Juste Ruzelyte. Dr. Ruzelyte did a very skillful job in removing 2 oversized bad crowns in the very back of my mouth which was very difficult to get to. Using a high speed grinding tool she did not cut me, not even once. (A different dentist, at a different dental office, who originally installed the 2 oversized bad crowns painfully cut me many times while she installed the crowns.) The temporary crowns and the permanent crowns that Dr. Juste Ruzelyte installed, the fit, form, and function was perfect. Throughout the whole process Dr. Ruzelyte and her staff treated me with the utmost care and professionalism, far exceeding my expectations. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. read more

I don't know what to say about this place, I called last Friday to make an appointment after sep 1st as my dental insurance kicks in on the first of sep for this office and I receive a rude awakening answering the phone and telling me that since you are not in the system yet, we cant make an appointment for you. I explained that I needed the appointment after sep 1st so I will be insured but again I was stopped really fast with (LET ME FINISH). I went to this office. Strangely, the woman at the front desk, whom I assumed was the receptionist, was advising me to get a root canal before it "exploded." The dentist and the "receptionist" said I needed a root canal. They then scheduled an appointment with a specialist who also said I need a root canal. I didn't get it done since I was traveling overseas in the next 2 months. After I returned, I have seen two different dentists, each of whom has advised me that I don't need a root canal!!!!! Then, even though my insurance covered 100% of the exam, x-rays, etc., they keep sending me a bill for $40.00. Red flags that this office is fraudulent and just wants to rip you and your insurance company off. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this Dental office. I have been seeing Dr. Marose since he bought the practice. I had to have all of my teeth crowned due to severe grinding at night. This was a huge job and a long process, as he had to completely change my bite (which had just about collapsed) After more than a year of slowly changing my bite (building it up) to normal again, I received 28 beautiful "Lava Zirconia crowns. I cannot be more happy with the results. It has now been about 2 years since we completed this "job" and I have had no issues. As far as having to go to the dentist is concerned, I love this place and all of their staff. The comment below about them not answering the phone is just plain bogus!! They have always answered the phone when I have called and always reminded me when I need to come in for cleaning and even over an above to work around my schedule, including seeing me at night. California dentists (like everything else in the state) are notorious liars, I know that, pretty sure everyone knows that, but it still needs to be said that this dentist lies. I went in for a checkup, no pain, just an annual checkup. I went back, where I was told I had a cavity, I was told that "it was small" but that it still needed to be filled, and that they would make me another appointment to get it filled in a few days. Strike one on this business is that all of the clients were coming out of the back holding their jaws in pain while the dentist would be heard calling from the back "get better soon." Get better from what exactly? Some of them had their eyes red as well as if they were sick as in illness sick, which made the whole place feel rather dirty. Not to mention, the whole time you are in the waiting room, the tech up front is on the phone with patients or their insurance companies letting out personal details, the tech is in an an area of the office that has no protection, so you can hear everything she says, I heard a lot of info that, if used maliciously, could ruin a person's financial status.I went in a few days later for my cavity to be filled (I know, I know, I shouldn't have after what I just told you, but I believed that I needed it done, so I went in). My appointment was a 11:30, and I was right on time, nothing seemed busy when I got in, in fact, some of the hygienists were standing in the back against the wall not knowing what to do, but I was told to sit down in the wating room for the doctor to get me. It is now 12:00 and after hearing more personal information from the tech, I was still in the waiting room with the hygienists still standing against the wall and not told why I was waiting so long. It is now 12:10 and still no call back. I ended up leaving and going on with my day, not believing that I had a cavity anyways. I later moved states and went in to get my cavity filled at a dentist there, I walk in to my appointment and was brought into the room almost immediately. I was asked why I was at the dentist and I told the doctor that I needed a cavity filled, and I told him what tooth it was in, the doctor looked and said that I had no cavity whatsoever, and that he was aware of the fact that California dentist lie often to make the most bang out of their buck. Do not give this unethical practice any of your business, even if it seems as if it is your last resort. While many dentist lie in California, that does *not* make it right and this business needs to be shut down, I hope they do. read more

Not happy with the cost of the crown that was put in $3500 included crown and deep cleaning. Very expensive compared to other dentists that I've called but the other dentists didn't accept the HMO dental plan. My research shows that a crown should cost anywhere from $600 to $2000 on the high end. I just felt that this office charges way too much for the work done. read more
