PLEASE READ!!!!!!! My son is a two year old, who is just now starting to understand the simple stuff. EVERY SINGLE DAY I WOULD DROP MY SON OFF THE TV WOULD ALWAY BE ON!! They have no curriculum for the kids and they would be like zombies with the damn tv on ALL day! my sons grandmother picked him up and sent me a picture of my sons eye and she was told it was a fish allergy. They never contacted me nor anyone else on the emergency contact list. I called furious and they had no report or explanation. Nobody knew what happened, the next morning was when my son woke up with a bruise and a swollen eye, I immediately unenrolled him and went up there so they can see for themselves, still no explanation. I told Mrs.Perri I would report them to cps and she begged that I don't because she would get to the bottom of it. Till this day I have yet to know, weather it was negligence or someone hit my son. I highly recommend that you please go find a better daycare. They are always accepting children but it is because all they care about is money. The children to teacher ration is by law and they don't follow it. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. None of the teachers here understand English nor speak it well, save your time and money and suffering and take your Buisness else where. I have so much to say but for the sake of this review length I won't add everything. UPDATE: the "business owner" should not put my personal information due to HERPA law! And no one contacted me! This is the absolute best daycare ever! I'm the pickiest person when it comes to leaving my baby anywhere. They treat my daughter like she's family and they treat me like family. If you want your kids to be excited about going to daycare bring them here. If you want to not have to worry about the level of care and love they are being given bring them here. My daughter loves this school and so do I. I'll highlight a few reasons why. 1) Teachers actually show an interest in the children. My daughter's teacher painted her fingernails (after seeing that i paint them too) 2) the food is good, my daughter is picky and has yet to complain. 3) They prepare children for school. This is NOT a daycare that sits your child in front of a tv all day and forgets them. They post pictures to their facebook page daily (with parents permission) showing all of the activities they do. This is more of a school/preschool than daycare. If you're curious check out their facebook page. There are recent pictures, and show the numerous activities they're doing, daily. In just a month my daughter has come home with a bug catching kit, a pea pod plant, and numerous worksheets showing how she's progressed with recognizing letters, numbers, and rhyming. 4) This place has a real school feel, which helps children prepare for kindergarten complete with a gymnasium area and lunch room. 5) The director is "human" and I feel is honestly more concerned with providing quality education AND care for children at an affordable cost than they are concerned with making lots of money. Safari Kids was willing to work with me as a single mother paying for daycare out of pocket 100% by myself and gave me a better rate than I could find at any other state accredited facility. Bottom line. My daughter is happy, healthy, safe, and educated at this facility. I have recommended them to friends who have also enrolled their children and have been happy with the care they provide! They do accept NCI and are one of the schools who's tuition is lower than other NCI tuitions due to discounts based on curriculum. read more

My son started with Safari and Ms. Shona at 10 weeks old during the earlier parts of the pandemic. My husband and I both work in healthcare so keeping our son home was not an option for us. We were so grateful for Safari Kids for not only taking great care of him, but also taking the right steps to ensure his, and all the other children's, safety during these times. He is now a year old and loves his time at SKLC. He often does not want to leave his teacher at the end of the day which always makes a parent happy to see their child enjoying their days. The staff also is great at giving pointers for feeding or sleeping which helps put the FTM brain to rest. read more

Being a first time mom during a pandemic, finding Safari has really been a blessing for us. Since my husband and I both work from home, we watched our daughter until about 9.5 months old. We decided to tour Safari and loved how you couldn't hear a single baby cry and they all looked so happy and content. They offer a part time child care which was great for us and our daughter to get our feet wet. When we drop her off it's nothing but smiles and she reaches out for our teachers which makes me so happy she's that comfortable with their staff. She's now enrolled full time at 12.5 months old and since attending Safari her social, and vocabulary skills have excelled. Ms Sherin has always been so patient, flexible, and accommodating. I would give this place a 0 star rating if I could. NEVER BRING YOUR KID HERE!! My Godson was picked up from here and came home with a black eye. When asked what happened they first lied and said that it was a "fish allergy" When later asked again for the truth ... they claimed he mustve "slept on it wrong during nap time" Their story changed three times and no one seemed to "know what happened" How does one get sent home with a full on bruised, scraped, black eye from "fish allergy" or "sleeping wrong" Mind you, my Godson has always eaten fish from the school and at home and has never once experienced an allergy... let alone on ONE eye with no other symptoms. We took him to the doctor and doctor even wrote on his report that it was "clearly an abrasion from daycare " and indeed not an allergic reaction. We are currently contacting authorities for further action. NEVER BRING YOUR KIDS HERE PLEASE, they are NOT safe. read more

We've been coming here since around July 2021 and they are great people! They genuinely care about your children. There's always some hiccups as they learn your family but that's everywhere. Definitely recommend! Our 2 has blossomed since we started there! read more

First impression: Facility:- Bright, clean, roomy and modern filled with great educational material Teachers:- Right from the director to all the teachers everybody is happy to be working here, it reflects in their work everyday My 3 yr old: Been going for almost 2 weeks and she is already comfortable and enjoy learning here. She is little reserved but has started to see a change in her personality already. She is now more open and confident. She comes home happy. Overall: So far this has been a great learning center and the management will take care of any concerns you may have. We are rest assured leaving our daughter at SKLC. My daughter (2 years old) is the first kid in that learning center, she was at first very afraid of the new environment, but the teachers working there take very good care of her. I mean the two teachers in her class call her the daughter of their own and they really treat her like that. My wife and I are very grateful that our daughter is the good hand. We have to leave the Safari Kids Learning Center, because we need to move to a new city. I want to thank them for their taking care of my kid and give them the best score I can give before I leave. read more

My daughter is 8 and son is 3. They love going to this daycare. They have been going to this daycare for almost 3 years and I can't complain. The owners are amazing.... You can tell they care about the well being of the kids. My son was 10 months when he started and I was worried how he would react. I took him the 1st day he cried, the 2nd day he fell into the teachers arms. That made me feel so good. I knew my kids were going to be ok. They are always learning something new. I know once my son is in kindergarten he will be ahead of the class. They teach him lots of curriculum. During the summer time, my daughter came home teaching me some of the things that she had learned. I can't say anything bad other then, I wished they had more locations so my family and friends can experience what my kids are experiencing. read more

I highly recommend this place for any kids age!! The staff are amazing and the owners too! My daughter been attending since she is 3 month old and she fixing to be 4 years old. My daughter has learn a lot and enjoys coming here. When you walk in they greet you with a smile and they will know everyone name by heart. You are always welcome to call and they will transfer you to the room so you can check on your kiddo. You will not be disappointed at all! They treat the kids as their own! Yes the mornings it could a little crazy but all the parents are dropping their kids early so their kids can go to proper schools with transportation from the day care and parents going to work. I mean they are taking care of our kids for almost 13 hours for 5 days! Some staffs are tired but they do their best to take of our little ones! If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have gone to work on time. I had a job that's far from the day care but I'm willing to wake up early to drop my little one off bc they do amazing job. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! My sons went to school here for 4 months in 2016 and it was the absolute worst decision I've ever made! There is never the same teacher there. I never knew who was going to be teaching my children. Mrs. Candace was the only teacher there that was there all the time and the only teacher there that I trusted my children with. The rest of the teachers were unexperienced and should not be working in childcare. One day I came to pick my boys up from school. A new teacher was there screaming at my sons at the top of her lungs when they had done nothing wrong. All because she could not handle working with small children and was out of control of her classroom. Then another new teacher put my son's nap blanket on a sick child who had strep throat then gave it to my son for nap time. Within 3 days my son had strep throat and double pneumonia. After a $1,000 hospital bill they begged me to stay promising me they wouldn't make another mistake like that again. When I told them that was the last straw and I wanted to withdraw my boys, they made me pay another 2 weeks. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE I GOT CHARGED THE WEEK AFTER THAT! I had to actually go up there and get the money back from them because they didn't want to give it back to me and told me they didn't know the boys were leaving. REALLY?? Don't waste your time! Oh, and my son (4 yr old) tells me all the time how much he hated it. How they weren't nice to him and how the food was always the same thing. Tortillas or noodles and cheese. DON'T SUBJECT YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS ABUSE! read more
