I had a funky situation where I needed a regulator for my window replaced. I was told I had to wait for a specific person to order parts and make an appointment. I was told I would get a call on that following Monday. (I never did) I had to call them and sure as heck it was a situation of "oh yes sir, I was just about to call you!" On April 29th I talked with that person for about 20 minutes and made an order and apt for May 11th. May 10th comes around and THERE IS NO APT OR PART ORDERED! The original appointment was December23rd. Had to drive to safelight location in Lake Havasu City, 67miles RT. dropped car off waited on site for repair. 2 hours later receive call. Safelite call say they ordered the wrong glass. (Note) I had requested mobile service but was informed it was not possible with this particular type of replacement. December 30th came back to Havasu, wait 4+ hours to get glass replaced. When I picked the car up, the inside dash and front floors were dirty. Car was returned extremely dirty. Not willing to wait, I said nothing not wanting to spend more lost time. 4/6- trim pieces running from hood to roof on both the driver and passenger sides have come loose, with the upper side sticking up in the air.. 1st the driver side, I put back in (it came back out) and passenger side . Safelite now expects I should have to drive back out to Lake Havasu so they can fix their error. Last I knew, they are a mobile company, they should come out to the customer! All I am able to do is book an appointment, online with the earliest date April 18th. So, I shouldn't need my car between now and the 18th? There are times that a phone call is necessary. I took my vehicle in on 6/1 for a regulator as the window would not go up or down. I specifically asked if they do this work and they said yes. On the first I was told they needed to order the part and would let me know when it came in. One week later, receiving no call or notice other than the estimate of $765 I tried to contact Safelite to check status. It is next to impossible to speak to a human, all calls go to the call center and could not speak to anyone regarding our repair. We were totally ignored, and after doing a deep dive, found a customer service chat but there was still no answer to my query. Call center tried to contact the Lake Havasu shop and couldn't get them to answer the phone. We finally took our vehicle to our regular mechanic who ordered the part on Thursday, and fixed it in 2 hours on Monday. For 1/2 the cost at that. I have used Safelite in the past for glass replacement but never again. If you can't do a repair other than glass replacement you need to tell the customer up front, especially when asked if you can do it. read more

I was overall satisfied with the service and my experience. My car required recalibration after the windshield replacement which was completed, Apparently, something went wrong with the calibration process after I left and I returned to the shop immediately. The technician took the time to find the problem that was causing the malfunction and recalibrated the vehicle camera and I was back on the road. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they went the extra mile to make sure that my vehicle was fixed. read more

I was able to make an appointment for the next day and take the vehicle to their shop in the morning and picked it up the afternoon. Safelite Havasu doesn't deserve a rating but a thumbs down It has been six weeks that we have been trying to get our brand new Mazda Miata's convertible's windshield fixed. Bought brand new on March 13, 2023. First, they get a glass in without the camera. 2nd time they get a glass with something wrong and can't put it in my car. Then when they do get the correct glass, they do not put the plastic trim back on the car properly, they broke the clips on the the top piece. Next, the top trim attempts to blow off and we have to ride over a 100 miles holding the trim on the car. We get to another Safelite store, in Henderson, NV and they inform us it was not put on correctly and Havasu Safelite should've ordered the clips to secure the plastic top piece that goes over the glass. Henderson Safelite is very kind and even glues the plastic head trim in place for us and puts purple tape across the top of our windshield to make sure it stays on. Mind you, this car is brand new and less than 3 months old! We get back to Safelite in Havasu only to find out that the piece that we needed ordered has not been ordered. Now we are six weeks out and the car still is not fixed. Yesterday while we are driving to Kingman, one of the side plastic trim pieces that decorated the front windshield in the front on the car comes off as we are going down the interstate. We call Safelite to try to talk to them but of course, as in most "every" situation that we have called them, they do not answer the phone. You can try to talk with them on chat, but they won't answer you on chat either. Now we are on our way back home and the other piece of plastic trim for the windshield, this time on the driver's side, comes flying off. Safelite should have securely fastened these pieces when they replaced the windshield. We've certainly had enough and so we call our insurance company. The insurance company tries to call Havasu Safelite and wouldn't you know it, Safelite won't answer the phone for them either. This is indeed the worst customer service that we have ever had with Safelite. And we have used them several times through out the years just never Havasu's Safelite, especially when our children were in college. So insurance calls us and tells us they can't get anyone at this store to answer the phone. Amazing! Exactly what we experienced. The store manager, Tim Kuntz said he would call us back, last Friday. Guess what. No Call back. Monday he was to call us, he did not. Tuesday we went in to talk to him for the 8th time. He again is not there and does not call us. Stopped by there today to find out how much it would be to install the rear side window on my car. I bought the glass from a wrecking yard so all I need is someone to install it for me. They tell me they can't install glass they didn't sell me because it can't be warrantied. What? Obviously I wasn't expecting them to warranty glass I bought somewhere else, so all I can assume is they are saying they can't warranty their work unless it's their glass which is understandable. I don't want a warranty....I just want the glass installed. Geez. Thankfully I found an amazing glass company who is doing it for me Monday and I don't even have to go anywhere. read more

We wasted 2 days at their shop & still ended up leaving without our repair being done. We are thankful now because we found out that our neighbors new windshield leaks & has other issues & it was installed there. In our experience the 1st appt we paid upfront & dropped off our vehicle at 10am. They called at 5 to tell us the new window was scratched. They offered us a discount to use it but we weren't interested so we had to pick it up & reschedule. We brought our vehicle back the next week & dropped it off for the second time. Hours later we get a call that we owe them $500/additional dollars!! This didn't make sense to us & we at this point heard several horror stories walking around the little community sound their shop about their work so we took our vehicle elsewhere. I didn't realize that they make their own windshields & cannot duplicate the original one that is in your vehicle. The glass measurement, thickness, quality is all off-subpar!! Had the windshield replaced on my Toyota truck; the rubber seal/trim on the driver's side came loose as soon as I left from picking it up. I returned immediately- Instead of taking the opportunity to properly install the seal, which was obviously done wrong (they had to have known better), they just glued the side that came loose...Now, the seal across the entire top and the passenger side have come loose. I plan to return and have this done properly, but will Never use Safelite ever again. *They also left tiny, rubber particles from the old seal all over the inside cab w/out the courtesy of a quick vacuum to clean up their mess. **Update: When I returned and mildly complained, I was told by the sales rep "Oh, give me a break" and that "It's an imperfect world" quote-unquote. read more

I went to safelight to get the rear slider glass replaced. They only replace the complete window not the individual panel. After the job was completed the worker said he vacuums the floor but there may be a few pieces of glass here or there. I don't think he was being completely truthful. See photo of floor mat. They also did a poor job of putting the molding back on and left black smug on the plastic trim. I'm really surprised at the poor quality of their work. I've had work done at different safelight locations and they went way above my expectations. Stay away from the Lake Havasu Safelight. read more

Had plenty of windshields fixed through safelite and never had such a terrible fix such as here. Had some high school kid come do a mobile fix from this shop and rushed it. Literally done in two minutes and did not care about the workmanship. Normally on a windshield fix you are left with a small glass chip and the cracks filled. But he left resin on the windshield so it will constantly will look dirty (like small bird poop) and they can't do anything about it since it's a one shot deal. Brandon the manager is not skilled in management nor is his team so Save yourself time and go to Vegas or another shop. read more

I recently got a windshield done by them in January for my Camry & they did a terrible job. My rear view mirror came off soon as I went two light up & costed me another 400$ to get the sensor recalibrated at a dealer ship. Which they swear they recalibrated correctly but, my vehicle was saying otherwise. Just got another windshield replaced again but, by rust auto glass in Parker. Would highly recommend him over safelite if it isn't completely out of your way. read more

Just tried to call the Lake Havasu Safelite, you don't get a direct line, you have to listen to a long recording about crap you don't need, then an agent comes on from in New Mexico. Brought our 2021 Jeep Rubicon in for a windshield. When we went to pick it up we found chips in the paint around the windshield down to the metal! We then got inside to find they cut our leather dash board. When we brought it to there attention they told us the manager was on lunch he took pictures and said we would get a call by the end of the day. This was a Friday so we waited til Monday afternoon and could not get ahold of them after 20 minutes of being on the phone while there corporate phone center said the shop was not answering. The following day I was driving by in my work truck the general manager told me he had to see the damage in person. I then dropped what I was doing so he could take even more pictures and told me to wait yo here from corporate. After about a month I got estimates to repairs which totalled over $3900 in damage! We again stopped by and to big surprise the general manager was not in. About a week later my wife went in and he was there. He said quote " I don't know why you would wait a month to resolve this" he then told us to report it to our auto insurance policy which not only do I have a deductible I also have it ruin our car fax report. It's a new car! We still have heard nothing! Today I was washing the jeep and noticed it leaking from the windshield! So far they charged us $550 damaged our vehicle and now I have a leaking windshield! Very disappointed and Don't know how they stay in business with there lack of care, poor workmanship, and disrespectful attitudes! read more

Had this company replace a broken window ion my car. They claimed that the part that raises and lowers the window needed to be replaced too at a price of over $200. After a little over a week the window was stuck half way up and when asked them to repair this they claimed it had been tampered with..like I even know how to get to this part in side the door. They had the City come paint the curbs out front red so now no one can park on the street. How are you suppose to get to any businesses around there. There aren't any parking lots nearby to pull into. Ridiculous request! On another note, I had them put a back corner window in my car a couple months ago and the replacement window does not even fit.
