Eased my concerns. Noah is amazing. I was quoted for 3 hours for installation and calibration but within an hour the windshield was installed. Noah kept me informed on timing and progress. I love the open communication on how the install is going. My phone was dying and I didn't have the charging block, Noah was kind to allow me to charge my phone with one of their chargers. We requested service on our 2007 Hummer windshield. Given a 6 hour window which we took time Off work for only to be called in the 5th hour they were caught up on another job and had to reschedule. On our rescheduled date we also took time off work for our 6 our window only to be told twhen they came they wouldn't touch it. They believed the accessory off road lights were after market and they wouldn't do it. After several phone calls when they realized they would be stuck with this windshield they said if we have them taken off they would replace the windshield. We agreed and took yet another day off to take it in and have the lights removed. Safelite rescheduled with us, another 6 hour window for last Saturday. On the second hour of our wait they called to say they were short a technician and could not come to the house, after several attempts to have them cancel their other client as they cancelled on us twice already they still refused and we had to bring the car to them which was another inconvenience because now I couldn't go to work again. We informed them the shop that removed the lights said they were not after market but an option at time of purchase and they didn't care. So basically missed 3 days of work and paid 300 to have lights removed and replaced and they had no remorse and an oh well attitude. I give them only one star as they did finally get the windshield in. Their customer service was horrible and rude and will never deal with them not recommend them to anyone read more

Literally go anywhere else if you value your property and time My experience with SafeLight has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare. Started with a small S crack on my passenger side on a Tuesday. I scheduled them through my insurance and the best they could do for a home visit was a Friday.... Pretty far out but okay whatever, at least it's getting done. Friday rolls around, tech shows up around noon and gets to work. This is where things start to go south. I hear a "oh fuck" from the driveway and what sounds like a fist banging against the van door. Go out, new windshield is in but has a massive crack spanning the entire top to bottom..... he calls his boss to reschedule, and the guy doesn't even address me let alone apologize for the inconvenience. The best they can do is THE NEXT FRIDAY. I don't give the tech a hard time but I immediately call my insurance, who then patch me through to SafeLight. I get all sorts of excuses from them that the glue will not be dry enough to work with until that following Friday...... I wasn't born yesterday and know at most asking them to do this Monday would MAYBE leave a little bit of dried windshield glue crumbling that would have to be vacuumed (even in the scenario where stickage would be the case, maybe just do me the convenience you messed up on in the first place and take your time carefully to ensure no panel/ interior damage??). Told them I need this done Monday as I don't even know if the windshield is safe to drive under and I've got in person exams starting Tuesday. They say okay and we reschedule.... Today Monday rolls around, no text, no show.... I call back and they STILL HAVE ME SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY AND THE SOONEST THEY CAN BE OUT IS THE TUESDAY I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE DUE TO EXAMS. So, in short, thanks ALL IN DUE to SafeLight, my windshield is even more broken, will be getting tested on the highway tomorrow under questionable safety as I clearly can't trust a word they say, and I am waiting even longer for them to come fix a mess they made and have so far failed to deliver a solution on. Worst customer service I have ever received in all my 24 years. Literally go anywhere else if you have an auto-glass claim. read more

DO NOT get your windshield replaced by Safelite. My car sustained over $1,000 worth of damage after having the windshield replaced. I did not trust the shop to fix what they broke so I took it to the dealer. The manager refused to inspect the damage and was given adequate time to do so. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and now I am forced to hire an attorney to recover the repair expenses. This has been my worst customer service experience ever! Windshield for hit by a rock on the highway and immediately left a mark. Quickly it spread across the bottom of my windshield. Took the appointment per my insurance company to bring it to Safelite in West Springfield. Seamless experience. Pulled up and immediately was greeted with a smile by James. Originally I was told by insurance that it would take about 3 hours to replace. James said about 1.5 hours. Waiting area is small but clean and has complimentary coffee or water. Exactly an hour and a half later James told me my car was ready and had zero issues. James was courteous, friendly and got the job done in a timely fashion. I recently had an experience working with Safelite. I had the driver rear window broken on my car on Marth 21st and so I went through my insurance (Amica) to get it replaced. They work directly with Safelite and connected me with the shop on: 57 Norman St, West Springfield, MA 01089. Initially my appointment was scheduled for Tuesday March 28th between 12 and 5 pm. It was then rescheduled to Saturday April 8th. No issue for me because I understand I requested an OEM part. On April 8th my technician Aleksey arrived. After about 10 minutes Aleksey realized that the wrong part was in the box. Aleksey was very professional and I have no issues at all with how he handled the problem. He said the manager of the shop would reach out to me that day or at the very latest Monday with an update on when the correct part would arrive and what day the appointment would be rescheduled for. He was very apologetic. I received no updates/calls about rescheduling Saturday or Monday. I called the West Springfield shop three times on Tuesday April 11th, all calls going to voicemail. I tried again in the afternoon and the fourth call I connected with someone who said the manager was at a baseball game and would call me back first thing Wednesday morning. Wednesday morning April 12th comes and goes with no call. I reach out to my insurance who tries to contact the shop unsuccessfully for over 20 minutes. I try back later Wednesday afternoon and finally break through to someone who tells me the manager is out again but "would definitely call me first thing thursday morning". Thursday morning April 13th arrives and still no calls or emails from the shop. I reach out to my insurance who is extremely apologetic at this point. They try again to contact the shop for over 20 minutes unsuccessfully. I decided to wait one more day to see if anyone reaches out to me from the West Springfield shop. Friday April 14th I speak with a glass claims manager at Amica who felt absolutely terrible about the experience I had and recommends I purchase the part myself and find someone else to install it. I buy driver side rear door glass that day, arrives within a few days and is installed by Glass America with no issues. Time I spent waiting for the West Springfield shop............................ ..25 days Time it took to buy the part myself online and get it installed................8 days If the West Springfield shop had simply decided after the mix up it wasn't worth their time to correct the mistake, they could have told me so and saved me a great deal of time. Also it is worth mentioning that I had a windshield replaced through safelite a few years ago with no issues. A good overall experience that time. read more

Easy from start to finish. I was able to book online, they ordered the correct windshield glass and had it ready when I arrived. Technician did an excellent job. Full windshield replacement for my vehicle model is known to require highly skilled person to complete it correctly and it was done perfectly. Everything went through my insurance, who I didn't even need to talk to except to fill out an online form. Great experience and results from this Safelite location. read more

He was respectful of particulars of the vehicle (Jeep has pillar lights), and provided an estimated time frame for the work. Last week I had to get my windshield repaired in order to pass inspection. I contacted Safelite and was able to get an appointment quickly. The communications between Safelite and myself was wonderful. I received text messages and phone calls letting me know the individual who would be doing the work was on his way. My car was broken into, i make my appointment gps address leads me to some other spot on the street continuously call the number online no one answers and when i get here they say it will take till 2pm mind you its 10:15am it literally takes 40 minutes to put the glass I've done it plenty of times before. These folks were great! I noticed a small crack last Saturday that over the next 24 hours grew into a large crack. I called them Saturday, unsure if they would even answer, but they did. The woman I spoke to was helpful, friendly, pleasant to talk to. She made it a 3 way call with my insurance company and handled all of the details. The man from the insurance company said I had a rain sensor in my window so that is the glass that was ordered. We arranged for work to be done at my office on Thursday. The Safelite worker came to my office right on schedule, calling me first to let me know he was on his way. He took one look at the car and said there's no rain sensor so I have the wrong windshield in my van for your car. He called the office to report that. They got the right part and came back the next day. One hour later- done! I did nothing more to make this happen than make the first phone call. They took care of everything else in a friendly professional manner. I hgihly recommend them if you need a new wind shield. read more

We hit a few snares in the replacement of my windshield: mainly due to the bitter cold weather, we needed to reschedule a few times. They came out to my house, but weren't able to complete the repair, so I ended up bringing my car to their garage in West Springfield. A few weeks ago my car window broke and it wouldn't go up. I had to be back in Boston the next morning for work and the Toyota dealership couldn't fit me in to look at it. It was during that spell of a series of freezing cold days. I made an appointment online the night my window got stuck and went to Safelite first thing the next morning. The technician did a fine job replacing the car windshield at my house, but he left without giving back the keys!! After looking everywhere on the chance that the dropped them, I finally had to replace the locks to my house (since my house keys were on the keychain). I had told Safelite management that if they did not turn up, I had to assume they were stolen, and would need to do this. I have asked numerous times about reimbursement for this and they have been playing a game of "we'll get back to you (but really hope that you go away). A very easy process from beginning to end. I was greeted professionally and shown the waiting area which is spotless. It took an hour for the windshield to be replaced. They vacuumed the entire vehicle and cleaned the glass all around inside and out. I don't think my car glass has ever been this clean even when I bought the car. Had to have my windshield replaced. Insurance covered it for free. They recommended this shop. On the morning I was suppose to have my windshield changed in my driveway it was extremely icy and rainy. They called to let me know due to store policy they could not change my windshield in the rain. I mean it's pretty obvious you can't change a window on a car in the rain. Totally understandable. They offered to reschedule or asked if I could come to the shop. I went to the shop. They had the windshield changed in no time. This is actually the first time I have had a service done to my vehicle since I've moved back to MA where It was done right the first time and I didn't have to go back. So props on that. The whole time the staff was professional. I herd one of the staff trying to reschedule a window change over the phone and the lady was a complete b@&$h to the guy. I couldn't believe the patients I was witnessing. All in all seems like a good shop with decent people working there. I also like the email verification they have. I got an email from them confirming my appointment after talking with my insurance. Then got a reminder the day before with an actual techs name and picture that would be performing the work. read more

Had my glass replaced over a month ago. While replacing the glass they tech's scratched my hood. The manager of the location tried to deny the damage and told me that he wouldn't do anything about it and to call the corporate office. I have called 6 times, left 2 voicemails, messaged twice, and emailed once. The last I heard was that a district manager would call me. I waited and called the corp office back and they continue to be useless and tell me how the district manager will call me. I had to get the damage appraised and the appraiser noticed that the glass they installed was WRONG and that it was a safety hazard. After all this nightmare they couldn't even damage my car by putting the CORRECT glass in!? NIGHTMARE! The manager of the location told his tech (who told me) that he was going to continue fighting this in order to not have to pay the damages out of his shops profits! West Springfield facility was clean. Appointment was for 3pm. I arrived few minutes before 3. I didn't even have a chance to sit down or explain why I was there. The tech immediately welcomed me, seemed to already know why I was there and found a tech to handle my windshield replacement. My windshield replacement was scheduled through Geico's website. Online claim scheduling was flawless. Tech came out within seconds and told me it would be 60 to 90 minutes to complete the job. Ended up taking 40 minutes! I was impressed. Interior job debris was cleaned-up and the glass was spotless. All staff I interacted with looked to be in their 20s, clean and tattooed, clean-cut but delivered a stereotype what to expect from them. I was hoping to see someone a bit older running the show just to make me feel there was an "adult" giving management oversight. I never saw someone "older", but nevertheless all went well. Younger staff definitely delivers a more up-beat, professional energy level. No complaints. They seem to enjoy their job. So much for stereotypes! This is the second replacement I've had done at this facility. Only very minor suggestion to the W Spfld facility is to make their "refreshment bar" look stocked and have the volume on for the TV. read more

I called Satellite AutoGlass to replace my car's windshield. I got a call back from a company rep, who was pleasant. She told me she had to do a conference call between us and the insurance company. The call took about 15 minutes and the insurance person was asking for the ViN # and info that I did not have readily available. My insurance company had already spoken to the other insurance person and the info was already provided. Then I got another call from Satellite to go online and file the claim online before the scheduled appointment in the morning. I have had a windshield replaced before and never had so much hassle. I cancelled the appointment and scheduled with the previous company. The Satellite insurance person was not friendly and gave me a runaround. I felt like they wanted me to fill out all of the paperwork that they are getting paid to do. My time is important. I called another company and that company took care of my windshield with one call. read more
