Really cute aesthetics both outside and inside. Staff and owner were both friendly. Everything for sale is from Costco but that's okay, it's a very small town so there may not even be a local bakery. Coffee and latté were good. I found $8.00 for a 20oz to be a little expensive but I'm sure that it was my best option for miles and happy to support the little guys. Would go back! read more

The coffee here was amazing and satisfying! Be warned that the owner will not be as amazing. We did not feel welcomed at all! It would have been five stars if the co-owner was more friendly. She didn't greet us in a kind way and just brushed off our questions. I asked her if she was the owner and she said "yep" with an apathetic expression. It felt like we were profiled for looking different and not having crosses around our necks. The cashier was very sweet and kind. I would have just give this place a zero star. I bought a mocha with an extra shot, but it was super sweet. This was not a little sweet but super sweet. I gave it back to them and was asked to pay for a new one. I was shocked. I told them that you should replace my mocha without me having to pay you for a new one. The owner was present at the moment but acted like she did not see this whole situation going on. No apologies or any other arrangement. I sit with my family and friend without a beverage in the shop. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. POOR AND UNETHICAL SERVICE STRATEGY. Clean, modern, friendly stop along I-25 with a sweet cafe and clean restrooms and so many great drink choices. I liked their matcha latte better than the ones Starbucks makes, by far. They also had a gluten free pastry option which made my kids day. I thought the live succulent decor added a nice touch too. Would definitely stop again on our future road trips read more

We have highly mixed feelings about our foray into Raton for coffee and breakfast pastry. This would have been a 5-star review if we'd have stuck with just the cafe mocha. Not only was it full of flavor and richness, it was just the right level of not-too sweet while being super bold and eye-opening. All-in-all a solid choice for morning coffee. Unfortunately, we also had a couple of the cheese danishes which tasted like they'd been repackaged from a food service warehouse at least three days before we bought them. Such a cute, sweet place to stop on our trip home! The employees were lovely, and even spotted the owner which was awesome to see! We both got a breakfast biscuit which was delicious and warm. I got a coconut oat milk latte and he ordered a hot lavender latte and WOW!!! We drink A LOT of coffee and this is now on the top of our list of best coffee spots. An unexpected discovery in an unexpected place. I've made the trip from Denver to Albuquerque countless times, stopping in Raton for gas. But last week, on a drive from Denver to Dallas, we veered 1/4 mile of course and found this cute little coffee shop. Offering perfectly brewed coffee, espresso drinks and special Red Bull concoctions for the weary traveler (or teen), this is a must-stop. The barista was sweet and showed that she loved her job and the customers. The prices were on point and the easy parking and on/off to I25 make this a must-stop for future trips. read more

I would definitely recommend this place for a quick pastry and coffee! Their drip coffee was fantastic and their cream cheese danish had the perfect ratio of cream cheese to danish. Great coffee shop! I live in Texas and always try to go to a local coffee place when traveling. I loved this one! Such a cozy atmosphere. Loved the decor and set up. Coffee was terrific.
